Dining at ABaC was a memorable experience. Located in the historical residence of Dr. Adreu's daughter and recently renovated by catalan architect Antoni de Moragas; the restaurant is connected to a small hotel and it is surrounded by magnificent gardens. Abac is the best restaurant of the known chef Jordi Cruz, it has two Michelin stars and it is located in the high part of Barcelona, in Tibidabo. Very impressed with abac. Very talented young chef. The food itself was very good and clean service let them down slightly with wine descriptions and no introduction to each dish they varied from a story to just a few words. Lots of table work done with food being done at the table to keep guest entertained

Theatrical without being flashy, not as try-hard as Dos Cielos. Service and ambiance are stylish, elegant and sophisticated, kind of old world charm. Dishes were delicious. The overall experience is ideal for an important business meal or date, the kind of place where raucous meals would be out of place. Love the quiet understatedness.

start was bit weird since they didn't have my reservation...after I showed confirmation email from them, they fixed us up right away. we have been to Michelin starts restaurants in Spain and this time also satisfied us w quality, creativity of off and amazing service.

There are so many great restaurants in Barcelona and if the Michelin team had our dinner, they would have been impressed with the sommeliers, service and wines but the food would never rate 2 stars. One of the best in Barcelona, worth the price. Gorgeous restaurant and boutique hotel, a little out from the city centre however so plan for that. A fantastic, relaxing tasting menu!

This cozy restaurant is like a chemistry lab. They put so many cooking tools on your table each course, and you can see the cooking process in front of your eyes. It's so interesting. And the building, the garden are quite and private. I want to bring my gourmet friends here.

I've been to maybe 20 different Michelin * or ** restaurants and I rank ABaC number 3. The better ones are Le Meurice and Le Cinq in Paris. There is one thing ABaC could do better: some of the waiters pronounced English so badly that I had problems understanding. But the food was great, which is the most important thing.... More

The first impression of the restaurant is from the street and it's an appealing sight. Clean lines and bright welcoming lights on a cold Barcelona evening. Description
In 2000 ABaC Restaurant opened its doors in his first location, Carrer del Rec 79 in Barcelona. In May 2008 changed to his new address in Avenida Tibidabo, 1.

The gastronomy is the fundamental axis of the project. The restaurant awarded with 2** Michelin, and nominated by The Best Restaurant 2011 in Catalonia by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, can seat up to 56 diners. Located in the newly constructed pavilion in direct contact with the garden, the interior and the exterior are found through large windows.
It is a caprice of whites, in all tones. In a calm, neutral and elegant atmosphere, the sense of sophistication is shaped by the small details and the materials used, as well as a sophisticated combination of lights.
The kitchen of 200 m2 has been designed by Joaquim Casademont. It is a black container, in which stainless steel furniture takes all leadership, an effect that has been reinforced by the lighting, a route marked by leds serves as a guide and allows the guests to cross it.
Rooms for private events with a capacity of 20 to 60 diners respectively, complete its restoration facilities. The "Lounge Bar", which opens until 2.00 p.m. and where the music, light and color of the room subtly change;There is also an extensive cellar, offering near 1000 references, and from which you can select your perfect wine.
Chef Jordi Cruz and his team of young professionals develop a creative cusine of superb technique, based on the product and which meets both creativity and tradition. In addition, our attentive yet friendly service create a professional but relaxed atmosphere, which makes ABaC holder of 2** Michelin.
