We picked the vegetable base with Thai sauce, one with beef the other with chicken. Amazing flavour and a generous serving. Great view of... More

The worst waiting staff ever. In Barcelona the service is very slow, however, I have never seen anything like this. If you got 3 hours to wait, I would definitely recommend..!

I came here with some lads on a stag do on the way to Opium nightclub and was not disappointed. I am a big fan of noodles anyway but the quality of these / the options available was excellent. Highly recommend to noodle lovers or also a healthy food fix.

After a week of eating tapas, we needed a change of pace. It was the perfect place to have a delicious meal and several glasses of wine while enjoying views of the ocean. The portions were very generous and the food was quite tasty. I especially liked the curry chicken. An added bonus were the two adorable dogs waiting outside... More

We had a good experience with great organic food and good service. At great alternative to the traditional beach restaurants.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
