This restaurant exceeded all of my expectations. After eating tasteless tapas and paella for two days I had enough. I wanted some flavorful food. A bit pricey - but you pay for what you get. We had the meat tandoori platter which was amazing. For dessert we got the sabudhana. I'm sure anything you order will be great!!! We will... More

Went there twice in the same week while visiting, first i had the meat tasting platter and the second time I ordered the food that I liked the most from the tasting platter. I have no special interest in Indian cuisin but this restaurant and the food blew my mind. Extremely tasty flavours, sauces and the tandoori chicken melts in... More

Absolutely fantastic Indian food. The Tandoori-dishes was great, also the lamb Madras, lentils and the special drinks. I didn't fancy the naan as mush as you can do sometimes, but all in all still a 5-star.

My husband and i were getting weary of Tapas after a few days in Barcelona so we decided to find an Indian restaurant for a break. We both really love Indian and eat it almost weekly at home. We saw the reviews for amateurs and gave it a try. It was a short walk around the corner from our hotel... More

My fiance and I had a lovely evening at Mayur when visiting Barcelona. Beautiful decor, relaxing setup, quick service, delicious food and friendly waiter. Highly recommend to anyone feeling for good indian food in Barcelona!

Food was excellent. Incredible decor of the place. Relaxing environment. Especially suggested for couples. Only low point is that it was a slightly smaller portion of curry than I expected. However it was very good. Naan and rice too. Also very well presented.

Went here for a nice meal but had to leave as they have the rudest waitress we have ever met. She told my partner to put away her phone because she was tired of seeing people on their phones. Unbelievably bad customer service.

One of the best Indian restaurants we have been to outside india . The food here is very authentic , in fact the food tasted better than many high end fine dine restaurants in india . We ordered a Chicken Kabab meal and also ordered a veg thali , the portions were enough for 4 of us . The Black... More

As an Indian after a few days of Spanish tapas, we were dying for some good Indian food and Mayura definitely did not disappoint. You might think it is expensive but considering the eating out routinely it worked out the same actually. On average€50-60. Very tasty dishes and the naan bread was the best I've tested in a while. Definitely... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
