Our tour guide recommended this restaurant. First, no seating until 1:00. The Seafood Paella had no crisp bottom, brown rather than yellow rice. However, service was excellent and the wine nice. For 150 Euros, I would have made another choice

The food was very good and the service very attentive and courteous. My wife and I shared a portion of seafood paella with a half-portion of pulpo gallego as a starter. We don't have big appetites and were worried that the paella would be huge but it was just enough; if you have a big appetite, you'll definitely need a... More

We went to El Cangrejo Loco to celebrate our friends' anniversary before sailing out of Barcelona on a 15 day cruise. The anniversary couple ordered Paella, I had a mild white fish suggested by our waiter, and my nephew ordered Monk fish. The 3 of them shared a very nice bottle of wine. Good service, and a pleasant meal.

We ordered the My Way menue which turned out to be a great choice for the price. Not all corses were equally good, but most of them were great. I really liked the various startrrs. Next time I would choose more crab over fish since I didn't really like the fish I chose.

Delicious cava (selected by waiter). The razor clams were perfectly cooked in a great convivial atmosphere.

This restaurant has a very good selection of seafood . We tried the paella - it was very good but we were sorry we didn't try the salted fish which we saw other diners enjoying . Service was very efficient and friendly .

If you're looking for a good seafood restaurant in the Olympic port and are hoping to avoid the tourist traps then this a good shoutout. Although mainly seafood, it offers a wide range of dishes which include very tasty paellas and modest tapas. Prices are still a bit steep but this is to be expected with its fancy demeanour and... As part of a recent training course in Barcelona we were brought to El Congrejo Loco. The place is located in a pretty nice part of the Marina and some windows can provide a good view over the sea and the port. Upon arrival we were informed that the room at the back where we were to eat dinner was... More

Hotel Arts concierge called the restaurant in front of us to confirm lunch for 10 people at 3pm. It was my dad's birthday. It was full of tourists. The staff told me they don't have a booking under my name. I spoke to the Manager, who just shrugged her shoulders, no apology for their oversight and said we have to... More

Staying in Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica

Neighborhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
