Last night in Barcelona and ended up to this small restaurant on a side street next to marina. Tapas I ate was good, but the seafood pasta with black spagetti was excellent- the real winner of my trip. Staff was nice.

This restaurant is a little hard to find but well worth it when you do. The staff are friendly professional and informative. The food is phenomenal. The decor a delight just wish I had found this my first night instead of my last. The glass my sangria was served is was stunning and upon asking if I could purchase the... More

Went there tonight. Also, as a coincidence, the only recommendation given by a hotel (H10). It was not a rainy night but the restaurant was still absolutely empty. Me and my colleague were literally the only ones. I wish we had been to one of the other smaller places in the perpendicular street which seems way more local and that... More

In his opinion does not describe if they only had beer or decided to drink something else. We are a restaurant and our effort is daily, both in the kitchen and in the products that we offer our customers. In fact, the beer you name is considered to be one of the best Pilsner in the world and it is... More

It has a nice maritime decoration so you feel like beeing at the sea. The food was great and fresh. We had Paella with black rice. But careful - we thougt we could share it for 17,95€, no - they multiplayed for two persons. But it was worth its price.

海鮮非常新鮮美味,雖然可以選擇的菜色不多,但非常推薦來此造訪! 另外,服務我們的服務生非常貼心,最後餐後還提供我們一杯檸檬酒,非常舒服的體驗。 此次消費兩人加開一罐白酒81歐~ Every single dish we had was really really really really really really really really really good. Very fresh sea food and were all excellently cooked. Staff are all nice, tacking very good care of us. Though the restaurant is very close to port, it is not that "tourist will come place" , very local. Also like the... More

Did your hotel recommend El Nou Ramonet? Ours did. And after reading the reviews it appears that a lot of people end up here because of a hotel receptionist or concierge. After walking in the rain and making a few wrong turns, we finally found this place. Empty. We passed many of those “touristy” Barceloneta restaurants that the hotel warned... More

Dear Sir, We don´t understand very well what has bothered to visit our restaurant and that we can serve to improve but equally we will have the education to take into account your comment. That the restaurant is full or empty, it´s not something controllable by us and more being a rainy day. It´s not unreasonable to think that the... More

A nice local tapas bar with main dishes too and good wine. English speaking waitress.Pretty standard menu with no surprises and reasonable portions at reasonable prices for such a central location. More pleasant than the tourist traps on the main drag.

Just off the main strip, this tapas bar/restaurant is pleasant with a good wine list and menu though not much for vegetarians. My veggie friends had veg tempura and some delicious mixed mushrooms with tomato breads. The meat eaters had big T-bones which came on slate still cooking. Unfortunately this meant that the veggies had to sit in a pall... More

We have tried the lobster and it was delicious. We have tried the burger and it was also something we can recommend. Service is fast. They proposed a white wine which turned out to be pretty good and not too expensive.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
