As a local, when deciding which restaurant to have tapas is good in a tourist area of Barcelona is an adventure. But this one I would repeat; the service was very nice and the variety of choices on the manu was perfect. The tapas were very good and the quality of the product was great.

Recommend the ham, potato bravas, gambas al ajillo, the mini hamburgers are amazing.... Actually try it all. We stayed 5 days and ate here 3 of them. Very recommended! Be prepared to wait at least 20 mins.

One of the best/popular tapas restaurant… Because of the warm weather we preferred to sit outside, while waiting an available table, we joyful drink sangria… The service is quick and the waiters are very friendly… As we sat outside, no one complained about the cigars… The food was delicious, the wine was silky… We enjoyed every moment… Complimentary Orujo helped... We were looking for a cute restaurant to have good tapas around the city and within walking distance from our hotel. A short walk took us directly to this very busy restaurant. We did have to wait a moment to get a table, but the air was worth it. The sangria was AMAZING!!!! The best sangria we have ever had.... More

This was our second trip to Barcelona and we ate at this restaurant for lunch twice on each trip. The restaurant has an outdoor patio on a center of the street boulevard across the street from the main restaurant. They serve a multitude of small tapas plates which were all excellent. Be sure to go into the actual restaurant before... More

Always fresh, always same quality and taste, excellent Cavas... Try fried artichokes at its season. Finish with Creme Catalan! Delish!

I've tried many restaurants in Barcelona, but this tapas restaurant is the best one. It's very commercial, but it's success is deserved!

First piece of advice; book in advance!! These are valuable words to live by. I get the impression, due to such a renowned reputation on tripadvisor, that this restaurant is very popular. For that reason, when we arrived, it was incredibly busy. We waited at the very crowded bar for around 50 minutes for a table. We were happy to... More

We had decided to try this for our second night and strolled La Rambla from our hotel. It was a lovely walk up there in the warm evening with what seemed like all of Barcelona promenading. When we got there, about 9.30 ish, the bar itself was heaving. However we noticed that there were tables just across the road and... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
