I had researched this establishment and as was close to our hotel decided to go.
Also we wanted to eat early, on attendance it was shut and slinked off to have a drink at a nearby bar, moaning about it showing open, we then went...More
That’s our best memory of Barcelona. After The kind of ‘tourist traps’ we found around Las Ramblas or la Boqueria market, this place was full of locals. They serve hot and cold tapas, same price for all and at the end they count your picks...More
When we went to Maitea, we ordered the squid with chanterelles which was in season and seafood tapas. While they were both good, the pintxos at Maitea are best ones we've had in Barcelona and of the many we tried, our favorite was cod. We...More
Fabulous Basque family Taberna. A must visit. Excellent customer care and thought. Great wines were suggested by Nico who is not only the Semele but the manager.
The food was excellent, the quality and descriptions spot on.
Will be on our list whenever we come...More

This is my 3rd time at this restaurant. I would recommend taking a seat at the bar and try the pintxos as they arrive from the kitchen filling the glass showcases along with a cold caña or a glass of wine. There is great variety...More

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

I'm sure it would be. I know they're currently on holiday until the 1st Sept. but you only need to give them a call for a reservation. Or you could try logging on to Tripadvisor restaurants and you can often book a table through their excellent "Fork" site...sometimes, restaurants offer a discount for booking on-line. Enjoy your meal...and enjoy Barcelona!
