Most things on the tasting menu didn't taste good at all. Like dried codskin, mussle with a sharp vinagar taste, soup only tasting of salt, vealfat and so on. Of all The courses I think we liked one. Also The atmosphere being very stiff and...The restaurant being way off so you have to take a taxi is an extra minus. Don't vaste youre money here and Don't expect a tastingexperience.More

I had lunch at Nectari, one of my places to go when I visit Barcelona. For lunch there is the option to eat a la carte, to get a tasting menu or have the lunch menu (39 euros). I chose this option and was not...disappointed. I especially enjoyed the salmorejo (a similar dish to gazpacho) and the shrimp paella. Both were superb. The rice had a lot of taste, the taste of the shrimp was really upfront, truly enjoyable. The restaurant is beautiful, intimate and elegant. The service very knowledgeable and friendly. Nectari is a hidden gem, a place were food departs from tradition, but that is wisely enhanced with interesting product combinations, and not superfluous games of gastronomic experiments. I will keep going every time I am in Barcelona.More

From all the michelin starred restaurants we visited during our trip to France and Spain, this one is by far the most disappointing experience. I am not even sure if this restaurant achieves the quality standard to be expected from the michelin star. We are...presented a couple of appetisers, of which the foie is very nice, but the others are quite extreme from a taste perspective (salty, spicy). The after taste is quite strong and not a good starting point for a delicate dish like the salmon tartar, which is the starter. Again, this fish is extremely salty (although I do like salty flavours). It shows limited creativity that the starter is accompanied by the same Porto and mango reduction as the foie appetiser. The main courses, for me porc, for my girlfriend a rice dish are not that astonishing. The rice dish, again is incredibly salty and the delicate fish flavours are drowned out by the flavour of the chorizo. The cuisson of the porc is perfect, but the dish lacks any vegetables. Maybe the dessert is the star of the show? Again, way too sweet (the plating of this dish is also quite disappointing). The wine pairings, which come on average at around 9 euro a glass are not surprising at all. The dishes are served at a very high pace, which ultimately led to skipping the wine pairing of the main course. We will skip some other observations, as overall this was already marked as a very disappointing experience.More

Had lunch there with a business partner. Good service but waiters maybe a bit too close to the tables all the time. We felt interrupted in our conversation too often. It made me feel uncomfortable. Food was nicely presented and ingredients seemed of good quality...(we had seabass and a steak tartare and both dishes were good) but you have to like modern cuisine by a chef experimenting with flavours and colours and be ready to put the price for such a “mise en scène” if you want to leave the restaurant happy.More

We booked a table at 1:30pm for lunch and we think the price is very reasonable. Only 35 Euro per person! We were the only table at that period of time! When we almost finished, there were some other guests! The waitress cannot speak English very...well but we used google translation to translate the menu! The food is delicious but not exceptional. But overall we are happy with the price and the lunch! We spent almost two hours here!More

I had been to this restaurant a couple of years ago when it didn't have a Michelin star and I was very positively impressed. That - and because it is walking distance from the hotels at Plaza Espagna - I visited again for dinner with...friends. I wish I had not. Had I read the recent trip advisor reviews I probably wouldn't. Unfortunately, they are right. On the positive side the set up is nice & elegant and the wine we ordered with some help was of good price/ benefit ratio. The food was reasonable as such but not of Michelin star quality (we felt). It did cost that much, however. It also looked over designed. We had a very friendly young lady serving us, who very early on said she "has much to learn". Which was an understatement. One does expect competent service at a Michelin star restaurant, the learning should be done either elsewhere or at the elbow of a competent waiter. Unfortunately, it seems they have a serious problem.More

To start off, bugs in the food, and no offer reduce the bill. Most expensive dinner in Barcelona and tasted bland. Only descent thing was the bread and olive oil. The plating was nice, but overall felt cheap and tacky. Still can't believe we paid...for such a terrible dinner. How did they get a Michelin Star?More

Seriously , the WORST experience of my life ! This restaurant is the biggest joke ever ! (But a very expensive and sad one) . How come those people have 1 star at Michelin ?? We have eaten there for New Year’s Eve... all courses...were below average and some were absolutely uneatable ! My girlfriend and I have spitted back one of my dish : the unbearable canned enchovies rolled in a burnt sauce . This one got me physically sick ! The ‘paté’ of Duck (absolutely not fois gras) was one of the biggest laugh ! It looked like a brown/grey mixture from a 7/11 store associated with pure sugar on top . Absolutely disgusting even for the cheapest restaurant ... the side dish was also burnt black and we couldn’t figure out what it was from the taste ... it was it fact just potatoes ... the Big Mac menue at mc Donald would have been a blessing compare to that awful menu . The only nice things we were about to eat was the caviar ... Unfortunately it was served with metal spoon .... The decoration of the restaurant is pure bad taste , violet and purple walls and ceiling , with small little multi colored cupboards that even my grandmother would have thought outdated ! The service was also bad ... the first 2 courses were explained to us but they stopped right after probably too bored to be there on a New Year’s Eve . Now let’s talk about the saddest part ... all of that would be only a bad memory if the price of that awful evening was not 420 euros for 2 people with no bottles of wine (only 2 glasses of the cheapest one ) . Looking at that unbelievable bill we noticed that they charged us 15 euros for 2 slices of dry bred per person . That Michelin star is the perfect tourist trap and absolutely non understandable! . We know what a Michelin restaurant should be , this one as not even the charm of a cheap kebab place... The chef must have been on holydays that night and was replaced by drunk children ! . We have been totally ripped of and we will never forget that scammy restaurant who should be compare to the notorious Barcelona pick pocket ! Please stay far far far away of that ideous place !More

It`s more like a fine-dinning restaurant. You may be able to bring your baby, but I'll suggest you to go to Lunch instead since there are more groups and less couples.
