We were on a very short break so arrived in Barcelona at 10pm. Dropped our bags at the hotel and went out, five minutes later we found La Tramoi. We ordered Tapas which was very good and some wine...they were still serving at 11.30 and we left at 1am. The place is right opposite the Coloseum so theatre goers pile... More

We were denied the upper floor cause it's "closed" although people kept coming down the stairs, we waited at least 10 min to have our orders taken, our first waiter doesn't like outsiders as he had a very unpleasant attitude and treated us like we were there to steal something. We asked for 4 paellas and although no one told... More

We had a lunch here on out last day on Barcelona. After four days of tapas, we felt like meat or fish... so we all (4 of us) ended up ordering grilled squid, a sea bass, some chicken and a sirloin. All was cooked to perfection and were tasty. Prices seemed reasonable for what we had. Service was attentive and... More

I had breakfast and they have limited selection of breakfast. Their prices are very acceptable. The decor of the place is beautiful.

We had dinner in this restaurant and it was very nice. It was very busy but our waiter was up to it and also very attentive. The food was of pretty decent quality and the only downside was that most of the specials had gone so maybe next time!

We went there for dinner in a larger group so as we couldn't decide for a selection of tapas to suit everyone's taste, our waiter asked permission to make the selection for us. That was a really smart and lucky choice. He brought us one by one the best of everything (cheese, jamon, seafood, beef...), including the wine, until we... More

Had a lovely selection of iberian ham spanish omelette crispy chicken with bread washed down with glass of red wine. Bit on the dear side but all exceptionally good especially the omelette. Highly recommend a visit here. Well done La Tramoia.

Unfortunately the first dinner we had was not very well planned and we ended going in the first place which looked decent from the outside. We started with some traditional snails which were still very slimy (undercooked) and assorted Tapas which were very dry and tasteless. For main we had paella which was tasteless and mix grill which had a... More

Food was ok, only real complaint was it took forever to be served and when finally the food come the bread on the bottom of the tapas was stale. Other than them minor issues it was a nice place.

Place is recommended. We didn't try the 'tapas' and 'pinchos' but the plates. And they were delicious! Enough for each one. Desserts worth a while

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
