Food was ok - cheap and cheerful. Decor is nice and the toilets were well done. If a basic breakfast or brunch is what your after at reasonable prices then this place works.

At the corner of rambla cataluña and gran via las cortes catalanes, La Tramoia is a large restaurant (2 floors) with outdoor terrace that may look attractive. But the service is poor as well as the food, and it seems that tourists are preferred to local people who can judge more precisely the quality of the tapas. A place to... More

If you find a nice restaurant in the very good location for tourists, then it would be nice to have waiter who can speak English or at least be nice and supporting to find out the best for the customer. In our case, waiter Vladimir, was arrogant and when we didn't go in his way ( I mean the experience... More

We were on a very short break so arrived in Barcelona at 10pm. Dropped our bags at the hotel and went out, five minutes later we found La Tramoi. We ordered Tapas which was very good and some wine...they were still serving at 11.30 and we left at 1am. The place is right opposite the Coloseum so theatre goers pile... More

We were denied the upper floor cause it's "closed" although people kept coming down the stairs, we waited at least 10 min to have our orders taken, our first waiter doesn't like outsiders as he had a very unpleasant attitude and treated us like we were there to steal something. We asked for 4 paellas and although no one told... More

We had a lunch here on out last day on Barcelona. After four days of tapas, we felt like meat or fish... so we all (4 of us) ended up ordering grilled squid, a sea bass, some chicken and a sirloin. All was cooked to perfection and were tasty. Prices seemed reasonable for what we had. Service was attentive and... More

I had breakfast and they have limited selection of breakfast. Their prices are very acceptable. The decor of the place is beautiful.

We had dinner in this restaurant and it was very nice. It was very busy but our waiter was up to it and also very attentive. The food was of pretty decent quality and the only downside was that most of the specials had gone so maybe next time!

Thank Bobbelar

"Tapas" and "montaditos" on the ground floor of the premises and brasserie situated on the top floor. It is the best place to taste Mediterranean cuisine. Meats, fish and vegetables grilled on a charcoal fire, among other excellent quality dishes.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
