Quite expensive restaurant with not so friendly staff. Atmosphere is not so bad, but you could expect more from such a place. Will not go there again.

La Tramoia isn't fine dining. It is, however, pretty much what it says on the tin. From outside you get a feel for the place. Lots of tables, speedy waiters, good menu, good value. Inside, especially if you go upstairs, it's less frenetic and the tables and well spaced apart. We had a starter to share, two paellas (both very... More

Stopped in for dinner & drinks. Excellent selection of tapas. Good service a little slow but it was very busy. Would definitely recommend!

From outside the restaurant looks good and a lot of people were inside and all the tables were full. So we decided to eat here. We ordered pahella and some tapas. The waiter came too late to take the order and he also forgot to bring some tapas. The biggest surprise was when he brought pahella with sea food. It... More

Went here while traveling with my husband on his work trip. Stumbled on it and glad that I did! The menu had great tapas choices and sitting at the bar was open and accommodating. Bartenders were helpful but not overbearing. Recommend 2-3 tapas for one person. Great for just drinks as well with good, affordable wine and sangria options as... More

We chose Chicken Paella with a warm Goats cheese salad and a jug of Sangria,we did ask for the salad to come as a stater but they... More

La Tramola offers a wide selection of Spanish tapas, and we tried several (along with a few glasses of various red & white Spanish wines & cava). We especially liked the cod with white beans, the grilled mushrooms stuffed with chisorra (spicy sausage), and the warm camembert cheese rolled in almonds & topped with berry jam. This restaurant offers a... More

Entered this venue for a light tapas meal, the staff were immediately friendly and happy to accommodate for the five of us. We decided we wanted to sit upstairs, the entire restaurant is beautifully furnished. We were immediately presented with menus and after watching the open grill kitchen decided on treating ourselves to a full lunch. Staff are friendly and... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
