We had a really good meal - the suckling pig - which was excelllent but the service could have been a bit friendlier. Not bad values overall though.

We saved our visit to this restaurant until our last night as we thought it would be a special evening and we weren't disappointed. This old established typical restaurant with wood panelling and old prints on the wall has a most interesting menu which is a pleasure to read and decide what you're going to have. The ambience is slightly... More

I have been here loads of times and it never disappoints, last time I took some friends from the U.K. and they were also impressed. Portions are generous but they can prepare your leftovers to take away.

Below average quality. Average service. Ridiculously expensive! Can't understand the hype about this place. EUR35-45/person

My uncle and aunt brought us to this beautiful small town of Segovia where we saw the historical Alcazar but it was the cochinillo that made our visit super special. I also got the chance to be the one to cut the pig with the plate so it was really a treat. Cochinillo so tender and yummy! So thankful to... More

How lucky we were to find this place on our day trip to Segovia! We had the all-inclusive lunch, which was around 39e each, if I remember correctly. It included a huge appetizer of different local sausages and gigante beans (which were great)! then came the speciality, the roast suckling pig. Very tender and tasty. Besides the dessert, it also... We had high expectations of this restaurant but were extremely disappointed. Our guide who spoke fluent Spanish was treated poorly by the staff, they were rude, arrogant and condescending. I now understand why there were only 2 other people beside our group of 9 eating. I had the speciality cochinillo asado and it was average. A very poor customer experience... More

I was lucky to be taken here by Spanish friends who are very familiar with this restaurant. How lucky was I !!! The restaurant is very 'olde world', great memorabilia all over the walls, great art, great everything really. The restaurant had a really lovely ambience, and the lovely lady owner was so kind, chatty and helpful. We hadn't booked,... More

We were appalled by the very poor and in fact rude service we received. We were a table of 8 with one person who translated the menu for us. All at the table were experienced travellers and all felt the waiters were not hospitable. It ruined what should have been a wonderful evening out in beautiful Sergovia. Food was ok,... More

My aunt had been here on a recommendation. I love the place very typical. We opted for the menu, be prepared you really have to love pork meat to appreciate these appetizers; chorizo, morcilla, carne picadillo, and a Big white beans in tomato sauce, then the entree is pig...baby pig...I know....it's sad... But I had to try it, I love... More
