Took a guided tour from Madrid to Segovia. Read that the suckling pig was amazing at this place. At best the experience was disappointing. The staff very formal and uninviting. The cheese platter traditional and boring. The pig was a bit on the salty side and portion definitely not worth the 25€ price tag. It was definitely an unsatisfying experience... More

It was a quiet evening and the food was good traditional Castilian - judiones and cochinello but service rather grudging and despite the lovely building and interesting artefacts our experience was only average - we had expected more.

Casa Duque is one of the most ancient restaurants in Segovia. It is placed in the historic town, close to the Cathedral or the Roman Aqueduct for example. There is a descent of the original owner and she was very nice asking table by table if the meal was ok. We first had Judiones (beans) de La Granja with Morcilla... More

I went for lunch and was feeling a bit adventorous! So I ordered Ravioles de Changurro! When I asked what is a Changurro, they said it is seafood! Wow! Those ravioles were delicious! Changurros are a kind of king crab and were prepared so delicious and beautifully!

We made a lunch reservation at this centrally located restaurant based on the reviews and a guide book recommendation. We ordered a variety of appetizers and dishes to share. The food was fine - the suckling pig is one of their well-known dishes - but honestly, the service was so rude that it overshadowed everything about the experience. At one... More

This was a return trip to a restaurant that we visited earlier in the year, but unfortunately we found the meal rushed and would suggest that the staff wanted to get us out of the restaurant. We had a set menu and the suckling pig was served immediately after the tapas. We had to request the wine that was supposed... More

We had a really good meal - the suckling pig - which was excelllent but the service could have been a bit friendlier. Not bad values overall though.

We saved our visit to this restaurant until our last night as we thought it would be a special evening and we weren't disappointed. This old established typical restaurant with wood panelling and old prints on the wall has a most interesting menu which is a pleasure to read and decide what you're going to have. The ambience is slightly... More

I have been here loads of times and it never disappoints, last time I took some friends from the U.K. and they were also impressed. Portions are generous but they can prepare your leftovers to take away.

Below average quality. Average service. Ridiculously expensive! Can't understand the hype about this place. EUR35-45/person
