I was browsing the little shops on the street between the Cathedral and Alcazar and had a great conversation with one of the shopkeepers who recommended this restaurant in the valley below the old city wall. It was a beautiful walk on a path clearly marked from the Alcazar down to the the little streets in the valley below. Cross... More

I had the menu for 12.90 euro. Adequate food, nothing special. However, the service was spectacularly slow and rude. This is a place for locals who come mostly to drink and socialize (in the evening). Perhaps good people watching but also crowded and noisy. I had to finally stand up and make as to leave before they brought the check.... More

12.90 euros gets you an appetiser, main course, dessert, bread, and a drink. The portions are a good size, and the offerings for each course are plentiful, from the salads to seafoods to meats to soups etc... Very nice tasting food as well! Would definitely recommended this. No english menu and staff there did not seem to know much english... More

We also chose this place as we were staying nearby in Casa de la Moneda. It appeared popular with locals and was definitely not a tourist trap. The menu of the day for about 12 euros was excellent value for money. We had a choice of over 30 starters and main courses, a bottle of wine followed by fresh strawberries... More

This is a great spot whether you are a local or a tourist. The food is excellent and the attending staff wonderful. You can choose from the many plates they offer. The prices are very good particularly when compared to other restaurants in Segovia. They offer daily specials that are tasty and affordably priced. I highly recommend this spot for... More

Staying in the nearby hostel at Casa de la Moneda, we didn't fancy the climb back to the flesh-pots of Segovia, so sought out San Marco, just across the river-bridge. We were rewarded with (between the two of us, I hasten to add), half of a tender, tasty, succulent suckling pig, a superb salad, and two bottles of soft, fruity... More

Went to Segovia with my Spanish family and I was taken to this restaurant. We where welcomed warmly and the starters at the counter where just amazing. After plenty of seafood we where taken upstairs to the dining room. Since I was told we where going to Segovia I was mad about the world famous cochinillo, and I was not... More

If you want to stay out of the crowds in the center of Segovia, then come here. It's very close to the Alcazar so a perfect place for lunch after visiting. Friendly staff and good food.

My wife and I ate here nearly a year ago and I was never going to review it because it is really something that should be kept for the locals. But, if you do want to try something outside of the city walls and taste the best cochinillo out there, then this is the place for you. Decor is not... More

I'm just looking forward to / backward on my next/last stay in Segovia and feel incited to add some comments on restaurants in the area, due to some evaluations I do not understand. San Marcos is on my agenda every time I go to Segovia (~20 our of the 30 last years). When I'm with a group of friends, I... More
