Short and to the point. Get the cuttlefish. One of the better tasting seafood dishes I've ever had....period. Just a fantastic flavor. The segovian black pudding was great as well, but that's if you are like me and enjoy black pudding. The servers were funny and attentive. We can't wait to get back.

To be honest I struggled with the local cuisine which is a bit too meaty for me and the general food quality is low compared to many European towns and cities. This was one of the better restaurants though. The restaurants generally tend to be empty until after 9pm given the later dining culture here and this was no exception.... More

The other reviews say great tapas which is probably the case. In my case I made the mistake of ordering dinner. They charged me for bread without asking if I wanted it. I assumed it came with the soup I ordered since the waiter brought them together. The soup was ok. I got the special since it was inexpensive. The... More

While in Segovia we went here for drinks and tapas, too early for dinner. Reasonably priced and friendly service.

Went for dinner here based on the trip advisor reviews and werent disappointed. Shared the calamari entrée and then the pork and duck as mains. All was beautifully cooked and tendor. Opens at 8pm so if you come earlier enjoy a drink at the bar. Between 8 and 10 we were either dining by ourselves or with a couple of... More

Wow. Best place to eat in Segovia for sure. We took a day trip here to visit while on a Spain trip. We were very hungry, but willing to wait about 15 minutes to get our table. Once we sat down, the feast began. We started with their croquetas, which were perfectly done. We next had the Lomo de Olla,... More

This is a very popular and crowded bar downstairs with a restaurant upstairs. We ate in the restaurant but ordered tapas from the menu. If something is not on the menu, they'll get it for you from the downstairs tapas bar. Everything was very well prepared and delicious, with very friendly service and very reasonable prices. Lots of locals eat... More

We'd just arrived in Segovia and after touring the Alcazar wanted a restaurant near our hotel and after referring to trip advisor decided on El Sitio. What a good choice! We sat at the bar and for each drink we ordered we rec'd our choice of one tapa. Choices were breaded mushrooms, chirizo and potatoes, breaded calamari, ham sandwiches, breaded... More

During our short stay in Segovia, we ate twice at El Sitio. We had dinner on our first night and rang to reserve. Although not busy upstairs, it was good to reserve as it is not clear that there is an upstairs. I had Duck Magret with apples and raspberries. Delicious although very large. My husband had escalope of veal... More
