We were expecting very little from a 11.95 euro three course meal plus wine. We were very pleasantly surprised. The first course of vegetables was excellent. The second course of pork tenderloin and potatoes was quite substantial and tender although it could have used a few more spices. The dessert of cheese cake was quite good. The restaurant was full... We were recommended this because apparently it used to win tapas competitions in the past. I've had almost nothing but bad restaurant experiences in Spain, and this takes the cake. We took a couple bites of some tapas that tasted like they had been made a couple days ago and thrown in the microwave. One was a pastry with meat... More

This rather understated yet formal restaurant is located just off the main square in Segovia. It was quiet on the day we lunched here - probably due to the greyish and drizzly weather - but it is usually very busy. The big menu included set price menu options. We had a couple of the local cuisine options and a glass... More

Looks unimposing both inside and outside the bar but had great food. Opted to share a fixed price menu. Excellent choice of dishes, fine dining quality for mid range price. Will return to it.

A little bit away from the main strip, this is such a great find. We ordered from the daily menu and were both happy with the quality and value of the food. Better than so many others in Segovia.

This was a wonderful spot to stop for lunch in Segovia. The 3-course meal is priced at 11.90 Euros and is a bargain. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions were immense. We had very good service and it was a welcome respite from our walk around the city.

It was nice to have some alternatives to the typical menu. I had an eggplant starter that was delicious, and duck confit with barley that was very flavorful. The menu had many interesting options.

This restaurant is just off the crowded and noisy main plaza in Segovia by just a few steps, yet tourist fare it is not. We had an excellent lunch (the best food we have had so far and we have not had what I would call a bad meal). We ordered a first course and then shared the roast pig... More

The restaurant is located near the corner of La Juderia and the main street between the aquaduct to the cathedral. It's a beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. They have a good lunch deal. We paid 12 or 12.50E each, and had a salad which was ruined by something they put on the top of it, steakes on a skewer... More

In Segovia, you would be voided to return if you do not have-at least once-cochinillo (suckling pig) y lechal (suckling baby lamb). Decided to abide, since we loved Segovia and intend to go back, we decided for El Fogon Sefardi. Our expectations were more than fulfilled. It's necessary to clarify that this is a cuisine with Jewish roots, but we... More
