The food is good in a way if they wouldn't be experts on a speciality of roast suckling pig. I love roast suckling pig and that's far from what I liked on other places such as many cities in Portugal like Tomar, Bairrada or Elvas. They have this "theatrical" set of being an old house and a foundation, where the... More

The Cochinillo is very tasty compare to other suckling pig dishes we had in Spain. The restaurant is beside the Aqueduct of Segovia. However finding the public carpark will be a challenge.

Excellent restaurant with fantastic food . Staff at this restaurant went out of their way to accommodate their guest.Great view of the Roman Aquaduct from our table made our seating pleasant. The owner of this restaurant also took a photo of himself with us to complete our meal. We thank you again for a enjoyable dinner.

This is a famous restaurant for the locals and we went to tray the famous dish called cochinillos, it was nothing special and overprice.., the only good thing in this restaurant is the fabulous view of the aqueduct is you get the window,,,,.

Excellent service; very high class and courteous. You have to dine inside the building; eating outside looses all the charm. The place inside is awesome. Be aware that most restaurants, including this one close from 4:00 pm until 7:00 or 8:00 pm. Food was great and as always during our stay in Spain; the wine was very good. You got... More

Don't get the mushrooms. I'm just sayin'. 4 of us went. Ordered food. 3 dishes were brought almost immediately. Weren't sure the fourth was even coming. Finally, by the time all 3 had eaten and we were ready to leave the 4th got her food. Left a lot to be desired.

We decided to eat here despite the mediocre reviews on TA because we really wanted to dine outside for lunch and the kids loved seeing the Aqueduct. Well the view was great, but that is where it ends. The service was fair, menu selection was ok (look at the menu before eating here as it is not for everyone), and... More

Cochinillo and Cordero was nice but there's plenty of places in Madrid which do the same and still have the same flavours. There's not much point in doing so many kilometres for this. Waiters need a bit of seasoning, they don't look very excited to work there.

I've had better cochinillo but other family members did enjoy their meal here. It could do with more seasoning and the skin wasn't crunchy enough for me. The desserts and coffee were excellent though. We had a reservation and were seated in a nice table on the second floor overlooking the plaza. It's quite famous and the unending flock of... More

Candido is very well known and has been there for many, many years. They have many pictures of royalty, stars, famous scientists who've dined there on their walls. We tried to eat there on our last visit to Segovia, but is was closed for holidays. This time, as soon as our group got to the square near the tourist office... More
