This is no-doubts one of the best place in Salamanca for a "merienda" / "aperitivo" / lunch for vegetarian or vegan people in Salamanca. It offers a great selection of tapas such as veggie burgers, quiches, wraps...that are vegetarian and absolutely delicious. Also a wide...choice of cakes is offered by this place that are as cheap as the tapas and as yummy as them that you can accompany with a 1,50 euros worthy homemade mint tea. The place itself is really cozy and grandma's living room's looking like...really particular. Music was really matching the vibe of the place. Absolutely suggested!!More

I don't normally leave reviews, but this was the best carrot cake I'ver ever had in my entire life. The appetisers were awesome as well. So pleased I found this place. Sad Im just passing through Salamanca otherwise this would be my regular spot !!

Number one for vegetarians, the food is good and cheap. The music is marvelous. We had very good food for only 1,50 euro fort each pinxtos. Housewife by bottle for only 12,50 euro. MaGenta forever.

This is simple restaurant with excellent vegetarian tapas. There is seating on the street. Prices very reasonable.

I am studying in Salamanca for two weeks. Where I love Spanish cuisine, it was starting to get a bit heavy for me and I was craving something lighter and fresh. I am so glad that I stumbled upon Magenta. Three days in a row,...I have stopped to read and eat lunch. The vegetable tortilla is light and airy yet alimenta bien. The vegetable paella is flavorful and full of chunky veggies cooked just right. The deserts are good. I have tried the cookie, a bit dry and blah, the apple torta, light and tart not sweet, and the best was the cheese with coconut- delicious! I plan on returning everyday!! The music is a fun eclectic mix of French, American show tunes and classic British. A hidden gem in Salamanca!More

Fantastic food and generously poured drinks at very reasonable prices. Huge portions of cake too! A rare vegetarian oasis in a country obsessed with meat and cheese...

The restaurant is quirky and stylish .The owner was welcoming and helped us choose from a an impressive selection of tapas, pies, wraps, kebabs and samosas. The mini burgers had a super spicy twist, the wraps had aromatic herb flavours and the quiches were generously packed with fresh peppers...& mushrooms. Soup of the day was cauliflower & coconut,i wasn't too sure..but it was delicious, with hints of subtle Thai spices. But please save space for desserts, its a must !! Their carrot cake had thick creamy topping and moist sponge, the best ive tasted!. Orange meringue pie??..it was yummy and the flavours worked well. The apple pie was also good.Chocolate cake was available,it looked so tempting. We would definitely recommend discovering Magenta,a fabulous find.More

The food here was delicious!!! There was a great choice of vegetarian and vegan tapas, as well as many gluten free options! Not always an easy combination to find. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful despite our inability to speak Spanish and the atmosphere...was very cosy and welcoming.More

I am no vegetarian and Magenta is a vegetarian cafe. But boy the offerings were wonderful. Delicate flavours, freshly produced and nicely presented. And very, very reasonable prices. We had a light dinner and returned the following day for lunch. Total for both meals around...€20 and that included beer. We found Apple maps mislead us. We were 200 metres away when it claimed we were there, but the required search was well worth it. The address is correct. Highly recommended- even for meat eaters!More

Of all the places I ate at in Salamanca, this was my favourite. It's bright and colourful and a really lovely place to relax. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming (and they were very patient with my almost complete lack of Spanish). The food...wasn't fancy but it was really good quality, well cooked and fresh. Great to have a range of healthy veggie food to choose from, rather than the one token veggie option offered in lots of places. Although it's really close to the centre it's a little bit off the main tourist route, so seems to attract a steady stream of locals rather than big groups of tourists. Definitely worth a visit.More
