Traditional and typically Spanish cuisine and courteous service. Not cheap, but good value - 'Menu of the Day' (Menu del Dia) A location to die for - in one of the best 'Plaza Mayor's in Spain. Lunchtime in the shade, and anytime during the evening.....

A great location in the Plaza Mayor, We had a wonderful evening with platter of beautifully cooked meat, a mixed salad and liberal quantities of the house red wine. It may read like a simple meal and perhaps it was - but delightful nevertheless. This will be a lasting memory of our trip.

Located in a fabulous position in the Plaza Major Salamanca this restaurant provides excellent service. however my food was not what I expected a steak under cooked served with lashings of lettuce and soggy crisps, but my wife's meal was brilliant so for some good for me not so good.

Good and affordable dishes, spanish style. Dinner is very crowded of University students. Any way, they are welcome to make us feel good.

So the food is fine, the waiter is so nice and the place is nicely designed. We sat on the top floor but it is a good idea to order a table in the Plaza, which is so very nice (please find a review about the Plaza Mayor, Salamanca)

My friends description of her meal: it just tasted bad. The pechuga de pollo a la plancha tasted very metallic. The bread tasted like cardboard. The wine tasted like it came out of a box.

Basic food well cooked and at bargain prices, great house wines, mixed crowd, atmospheric surroundings and all with a view upstairs overlooking the extraordinary Plaza Mayor. What is not to like! If you are sporting an appetite then might I point you to the hamburguesa combination plate? You will not go away hungry. I would recommend the house red Ribera:... More

Had some tapas here and it was very good. Nice selection. I enjoyed the blood pudding a lot. The wine was ok. I think he gave us some that was open for awhile. Neat inside. Very old & neat to hang out in.

The tapas are excellent, with special mention to the mushrroom with jamon one. The prices are the best we've had in Spain: 0.6 euros per glass of beer, 1.7 euros per tapa. Excellent value!

This bar has everything you could ask for. Good service , great wine , excellent"tapas" and the indoor dining service is great. I especially recommend the tapas or pinchos as they are called. They have a wide range of products for all tastes. Everything we tried was amazing. Very well displayed at the bar you just show them which ones... More
