Lovely restaurant next to Hacienda del Cardenal

Very good dinner in lovely dining room. Copious portions of excellent food. We had the complete anniversary dinner which included a huge appetizer plate (eggplant, sausage, choirzo, cheese, ham, etc.) and giant portions of roast suckling pig. Absolutely great location and surroundings with this Toledo restaurant. Great starters that pleased 150 of us who went there as a group. Service excellent. Would love to go back and try their specialty: lamb.

Very friendly service (with limited English) at a beautiful setting. Bountiful food with many dishes cooked in their vintage oven. Steak was poor, but the other ten items looked or tasted great. Nice white wine. Suckling pig and suckling lamb are the specialties.

We didn't have reservations but the restaurant was not busy, so we were seated. However, we were made to feel that we were an imposition. After we ordered, the manager came by and plunked a bowl with wilted flowers on our table. We had salad and asked for olive oil, and wine vinegar. Without asking if we were done with... More

Service not at par with place and quality of food, however, not bad, simply average and with an attitude!

The restaurant is in the courtyard of a historic building at the base of the city wall with the towers of the Alphonso VI Gate as the background. The outdoor tables are spaced well apart ensuring privacy and the minimal lighting provides a wonderful setting for a romantic meal for two or a pleasant dinner with friends. We started with... The location is perfect for a romantic dinner. The waiters are nice and helpful. But the kitchen was probably too busy tending the big wedding dinner that was going on to keep his cooking focused and used the salt pot a little bit to often. The dessert was nice though but we had better dinners in Toledo for better prices.

We recently had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant, it had been recommended by a local taxi driver. The garden and terrace area were very pleasant and on a warm August evening it was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and we did not feel under any pressure to rush our pre dinner drinks or meal. The food was... More

We enjoyed traditional Spanish cuisine both at the terrace (when serviced) and inside. The place reminds to an old hacienda, very spacious and with traditional decoration. The service was good and the food very good, although the cochinillo did not met our expectations. For this plate, better drive directly into Segovia...
