Waiter decided to give himself an almost 50% tip by shortchanging me €5 on an €11 bill when I paid cash. If I tried to be politically correct I'd say he "probably made a mistake", but I actually believe that he tried to steal on purpose as he was clearly ashamed and agreed immediately to change the amount on the... I read a bunch of excellent reviews so we made a dinner reservation. It was really good, but not a "wow" experience. The cave setting was a cool feature. We ordered a very nice bottle of young tempranillo (only 13 euro), 2 bottles water, bread, pickled tuna salad, steak tartare with arugula, venison filets in mushrooms sauce, duck confit ravioli,... Ordered the set regional tapas menu. The partridge salad tasted like the filling from a sweet chilli chicken wrap, the cod was overdone and chewy. Finally the desert on the set menu was a marzipan sponge cake and chocolate truffle as well as another dish. Instead we were offered either coffee flan or ice cream. The coffee flan was grey... It was one day trip to Toledo from Madrid. We haven't enough time to eat in the morning. That's why the first thing we do there was the breakfast. It was an offer for breakfast: coffee + sandwich + fresh squeezed juice only for 2,60€. We ate 4 breakfasts!! Highly recommended! Very tasty and fresh.

Nice tavern, with a cavern restaurant. Good traditional fare, with a good wine and beer menu. We opted for the suckling pig and roast shoulder of lamb. Both were well cooked and tasty, but not very much in the way of accompaniments. A half of jacket spud and minimal garnish. We still enjoyed a nice meal and would consider returning... More

A group of my friends & family ate dinner here last week at 10pm, the atmosphere was good and the decor/feel of the restaurant is great. The staff we dealt with spoke enough English for us all to get by and order our food etc and were very friendly. I had the Venison to start and beef picante for main... More

We really enjoyed a lovely meal here - it's not too expensive and you can order lots of different dishes to share (which we did) and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Interesting tapas bar that was popular and had some interesting dishes. We were seated in the underground caves, which was novel. We had the mixed tapas selection with the duck pate and stuffed mushrooms being our favourite dishes. It wasn't expensive, but I have had better tai as elsewhere.
