After reading the reviews I expected to be wowed but I was underwhelmed. The place was full of people watching sports on TV. Sign on the door said "closed" but the waiter said they weren't closing for 45 minutes. Sangria tasted like juice. Tapas was just tuna on soggy bread.

I ordered the stewed squid and fried pork ear for takeaway. Both are amazing! One of the best in Toledo! No photos taken as we finish the food so fast...the service staff are super helpful as well! Highly recommended!

Good tapas and pork meat dishes. Decorated with wood and stone. The owner very kind attending customers. Good service. For dinner, there is a nice exterior area in the garden. Medium range prices.

Nice restaurant to sample Spanish food. Tried the pork dish which was excellent. Also tried their meatballs as well as their appertisers. Do note that the helpings are super large and the waiter recommended that we order half portions which was a smart move. We ordered 3 dishes and all in half portions but they are super filling even though... More

We "climbed" up here through narrow roads and steps for lunch. It was well worth it. Turns out that this is a local favorite. We were literally the only tourists there. One major piece of advice - order only half the quantity you would normally order. For example, each salad is more than enough for two people. Each entree is... More

We went to this restaurant 2 years ago with friends on a recommendation from other hotel guests. We had a very enjoyable meal sitting outside in a little square. The waiter recommended us to order just 2 starters and 2 main courses which we did he suggested that maybe if we ordered 4 meals it would be too much, which... More

We stayed at the Hotel María Cristina, and decided to walk here for dinner. We definitely worked up a bit of an appetite after walking the whole way uphill! We arrived at 8:30, and were the second table seated for the night. After that it filled up. My husband and I shared plates, thankfully they offer medium sizes of their... More

A small caña in the afternoon of the 31# December was folowed by a complimentary (enormous) dish of "migas catalanas" just because... Nest day, we start the new year in the best fashion with a racione de setas, grilled mushrooms. Adrian is the boss of a not to miss place in Toledo!
