I was starving, but I didn't want to stop in a place too "touristy". I stopped there and they said they didn't have any space in the restaurant and asked me if I wanted to sit in the bar space. On a stool, eating on a barrel, near a bull head, I said yes. The place looked nice, and the... More

Just picked the first restaurant we saw after the cathedral. We were quite hungry so didn't have the luxury of choice. Staff were friendly at least but the food was just average.

We stumbled upon this place because we were hungry and did not bother with reviews. Seeing the crowd, we thought it can't be too bad. The man who took our order was disgruntled when we asked if they had an English menu, so when we asked what meat the dishes were, he seemed impatient and walked off. Another lady came... More

Just avoid this terrible place. Unwelcoming owner. Trying to rip off unsuspecting tourists. Bad food. Go to other more pleasant restaurants.

Staff were all very friendly. Between my little Spanish and their little English we were able to communicate what the menu items were. I went in looking for paella but ordered a couple of their specials of the day instead. The menu had a lot to offer and I enjoyed each of my selections. Wine and beer were good as... More

My friends and I stopped for a quick lunch at this place since it looked quite decent from the outside. I had a plate of 'fresh italian pasta' but it was just spaghetti with tomato sauce straight from the can. It was clearly reheated since the pasta was dry on the sides. We had sangria as a drink but we... More

Horrible food, worst restaurant ever! Ordered a plate of lamb chops and what I got was dry stale rubber like what i think was meat but could have been just someones leftovers with re-fried french fries. No condiment at all. Ordered a wine bottle and even tho the meal was supposed to come with a glass of wine that they... More

I'm struggling to understand the negative reviews of this restaurant on TA. We visited Toledo for a day and wanted to eat in an authentic restaurant. We chose this place as it was clearly popular with the locals. We weren't disappointed. The morcilla - I think that's the right word for Spanish black pudding - the grilled asparagus and the... Staff uninterested, banged plates on the table. We only had some cheese (advertised as selection of manchego ) and sausage ( white iberico) with bread and a beer. The cheese and sausage slices had obviously been cut at least 2 days before as they were dried out around the edges and would have been lowest quality to begin with. At... More
