Visited this restaurant based on advice from Rick Steve's book for lunch. We could not have been more delighted. The wait staff was very attentive and met all our needs. My wife and I chose the meal of the day for 18 Euros each. With...that we got the Cattelan soup which was fabulous, a large basket of bread, a healthy portion of pork shank and potatoes and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Not to mention that a glass of wine came with that as well. There were other choices available but this is what we ordered. The setting was a lovely indoor courtyard on a chilly afternoon. This was the perfect setting for a great meal. For US citizens be sure to request to pay for the meal in Euros instead of dollarsMore

If you're looking for a sightseeing break while in Toledo, check out the menu at this centrally located restaurant. Though there is outside seating, we loved the interior historic courtyard, which gave us a break from the tour groups along the street. We were greeted...by a warm smile upon entering and were very happy to see several traditional dishes on offer. We choose the three-course lunch, which was very reasonably priced and delicious. Among the offerings that day were venison, rabbit, and partridge. My spouse and I also had generous salads and -- at the end -- just enough room left for the special marzipan cake! Hope you'll try it, too . . .More

If you don't literally mind picking the bones out of it - order the wild rabbit stew - the flavours are to die for! The most delicious thing I ate on my holiday in Spain. My partner had the roast pork and can also recommend...it. Lovely to sit outside under the umbrellas and be served by such pleasant staff.More

Thank you very much for your words. Our specialties are meats, including the game meats that abound in this area. I fully agree with your comment, the rabbit is very good, but it has many bones, but its taste is spectacular. It was a pleasure...More

We spotted this restaurant during a walking tour of the old town and decided to give it a try for dinner, particularly as we could get a taxi right to the door! We sat outside as it was still very warm. The food is not...cheap here. We chose caesar salads to start. Our mains were fish and lamb, both well presented and really nice. Good service too and at the end of our evening the taxi that was called arrived in 2 minutes. Would certainly recommend.More

Had lunch there today. It looked rather inviting with the tables under the shade of a tree. We No hablo español, but we give it an attempt which usually engages the waiter. Not this one. No happy or inviting response, just took the orders without...smiling. What a grump someone remarked at the table. Well the food turned up one being the wrong order even though the dish was pointed out on the menu. Miss Grump replaced the wrong order. Another waiter came and checked for dessert or coffee and brought the bill - she was ok. So all up the food was ok the service was less than ok. We then checked some reviews on TripAdvisor and found some interesting facts. There were 154 ratings in the bottom category. This is lots if you compare to other restaurants. Then you see responses from management to low rating reviews. . . mmmm. Overall good potential. Good luck to them.More

This is not a cheap restaurant but the food was very disappointing for the price. I had a half partridge with a sauce. There was very little meat on the plate and the only accompaniment were greasy, soggy fried potatoes. My chocolate fondant dessert was...over cooked so the middle was solid. I asked for a glass of Rioja but, when the waiter poured it, I could clearly see and taste it was not Rioja at all. Service was fast but we would not go there again.More

We deeply regret your insfaction, and I publicly apologize, on behalf of the Restaurant. If all you describe happened like this, it's a series of bugs that are not tolerable and that we need to work on improving. Thank you

We did not looked for opinions before our meal in this restaurant. Very nice waiters. Helpfull to choose the right wine according the dishes. It was the right one. Not especially expensive regarding others restaurants tested. Some local specialities to be tried. It was sunny...so we had dinner outside. But the inner hall is really beautiful.More
