I am vegetarian and was looking for a place that could serve me something more than potato bravas. The service is poor and the food takes really long to get to your table. I did not like the food. I should have stuck to the potato bravas.

We discovered this on another app and it was well worth the 35 min walk from our hotel. Every piece of food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was quiet but we ate at 830 so still early for Spain! Lots to choose from vegan wise as well!

This is really hard to find on a small street behind the cathedral, but it's worth the effort, especially if you're a vegetarian. They have a sign on an adjacent street indicating where to turn, but you have to walk down the street it's on a bit before you see the entrance. The vegetarian menu is excellent, and we especially... Madre Tierra offers a very wide variety of vegetarian dishes. We really enjoyed their pizzas, pasta dishes and teas. After dining across Spain for over a week and finding mostly meat dishes, our two vegetarian family members were quite happy to find this cozy restaurant just a block from our apartment.

The food was amazing and so was the tea. It was very over priced though. It is fairly limited and has odd hours. In the evenings it is only open from 8:30 to 11. It also has a short lunch time. They were out of some desserts on the menu when we arrived at 8:30. We were the only ones... More

I am vegetarian but the rest of my family is not. We had a great meal at Madre Tierre, and everyone found something they loved. In a host of touristy, expensive restaurants, this was a great find that had quality food for reasonable prices. It's so hard to find vegetarian or vegan food that's not always either covered in cheese... More

Vegetarian. Cute restaurant located in the basement of a building off a side street. It was a little hard to find but worth it. All the dishes we had were very good – a little on the bland side but that is Spain. We prefer spicy. We had onion soup, grilled vegetable plate, musaka, scallops (fake) with pesto. We were... More

We had a delicious dinner here. We are vegetarians, and early in our 2-week trip, we were already feeling deprived of veggie options given Spain's obsession with all things ham. We ordered several dishes here and enjoyed all of them. Highly recommended! Just steps away from our hotel at La Posada de Manolo which made it even more convenient. Only... More

Bit disappointed, tell the truth. Went with high expectations based both on the positive reviews and recommendation from a local. We're carnivores but really like the occasional veggie, which can be outstanding. But this wasn't. Just ordinary. And overpriced for what it was.

The evening we ate at Madre Tierra we were the only ones in the restaurant which I thought might not be good. But, I was wrong! The menu is extensive with some vegan and many vegetarian choices. And, the food was really very good. They have wine and beer as well. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great.... More
