This is the only vegetarian place in Toledo so I went. However, it was not a relaxed place to eat alone -- most veg(etari)an restaurants are more like cafés but this definitely isn't. I wouldn't have minded the experience so much if it were vegan...More

It's a quiet little place, a bit tricky to find (google maps was confused). Good vegetarian restaurant with many options. Portions are good and staff is friendly, although sometimes it felt a bit difficult to get their attention!

This is one of the few vegetarian/vegan friendly options available in town. It is a pleasant stroll through the cobbled little streets of Toledo. Service is quite slow, but quality of food makes up for it. Price: average.

The thing is they have ONE waiter for the entire restaurant, in spite of this, he was very gentle and nice. The food is great !! So original .

We attempted to dine at this restaurant as a hungry and thirsty family of four. We were seated by a bearded waiter. But it was us doing the waiting. There were about 8 parties in the restaurant. The two waiters ignored us - no drinks,...More

In a country that seems to think it essential to add "jamon" to everything, this restaurant is a godsend. The dishes we tried on our two visits (during a three night stay) were all delicious and I was very taken with the fact that so...More

Went to Madre Tierra at weekend. My friend was assured a certain dish would suit his food intolerance, unfortunately it was not and he had to pick out the vegetable that he had enquired about. It seems quite ridiculous for a restaurant named 'Madre Tierra'...More
