The food here was so incredibly good last night I would have to list each and every item we tasted in order to be fair. Croquettes de bacalao, oxtail stew, merluza bunuelos, tarta de queso, chocolate molten cake with olive oil and salt...it goes on and on... At one point a few plates were dropped, breaking with shattering noise upon... More

We have only ever eaten in the bar not in the restaurant but the lunches in the bar are excellent and a little bit different from the other places in the area and slightly more up market. You can have a drink and pincho sitting at the bar if you don't want a sit down lunch. I'm sure the food... More

We arrived with little Spanish and went to the back of the bar to the restaurant not knowing if we would get a table. The waiter was helpful and retrieved an English menu and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and assists in the choice of fresh fish available. My son had the steak which was... More

Been there for a family dinner and was one of the best in long time. We booked a table at the restaurant, but had to stop for a quick pintxo at the bar as they are amazing. Then went into the restaurant and had a super dinner. They put us a nice salmorejo with sardines as an aperitivo. Then a... More

Great tapas and a great selection of wines. Very busy at peak times but this adds to a great experience. Easy to order and welcoming staff.

Spanish and Cantabrian kitchen of the highest quality. A little sophisticated but not too much. An excellent chef. The “tapas” are of first quality. The kitchen is open to the public and you can appreciate its perfect organization and professionalism.

We stopped off here for food and drinks on the way to our hotel. There was a good selection of pinchos and those we chose were excellent as was our wine. We found the price to be very reasonable (€28 for 6 Pinchos and 4 large red wine). The waiters who served us were also attentive and pleasant. Well worth... More

We got here by recommendation and I must say, what a great place! The service is great, we felt very welcome. Starters to share included traditional croquetas -wow- and the egg with truffles, very fresh boquerones. Main dishes included meat and fish. Both fantastic. Great taste and very well prepared. Don't miss the cheese cake, the best we ever had.... More

We had lunchtime pintxos here. Decent choice and very good quality offerings. Not the best in Santander. Good value for the price. There were more business people here than at other venues so more formal.

Following the advice from our pension's host, we dropped into Canadio for few pinchos – those were really good. We especially liked the one with baby eels. Atmosphere was friendly with English-speaking bartenders happy to explain what’s on particular pinchos. Very good wine. Place seems popular also for sit-down meals. We recommend.
