Fantastic selection of small plates to share all of which were very tasty indeed. Sat outside. Service was prompt and friendly. Good place to stop for lunch with a view of the sea.

It is a Santander MUST! Several different tapas to choose from cheese to fish to meat it has it all. Personally I loved the black pudding and had 2 but there is a huge and tasty variety on offer. You go in and do the circle of tapas on display; then sit inside or out enjoying the matching wines (advice... More

We called in here on the back of Trip Advisor reviews and I have to say these were the best pinchos we had in Santander. We tried one of the three pinchos for E4 and had another couple with wine. All had an individual taste and were very well constructed and tasted delicious. The waiter explained what was in each... More

Casa Lita is very nice located. It's a cafe with a bar packed with all kinds of quite big pincho's on bread. Wine is a standard Rioja. Not special but okay. I expected a lot more from the pincho's. The selection is impressive, but they are a little stale. When you've made your selection of three or four pincho's, they... More

Friendly place on sea front with an excellent selection of pintxos. Fair prices and helpful staff. Opposite the splendid waterfront statues of children who used to dive into the sea for coins.

We visited twice in our trip to Santander and was a recommendation by the hotel. As we only had 2 days in Santander and with all the choice there is I think that speaks volumes in itself. We had morcilla with pepper and egg, and solomillo with pepper on the first occasion. On the second we had the special tasting... More

Is this the best tapas bar in the world ? Possibly not , but, IF "Carlsberg did tapas bars".. very friendly service, superb location, sensational food, magnificent wine and exceptionally reasonable prices. If in Santander area this joint is compulsory for a plate or two and a glass or six

Another place recommended to us by our pension’s host. This is pinchos heaven as the variety is huge so you may even have problems with a choice. We visited Casa Lita in early afternoon on our way to Palacia de Magdalena, so we avoided the evening crowds and the bartender was patiently explaining the ingredients of pinchos that looked attractive... Cannot fault this tapas bar. Food is excellent and varied. Staff work very hard to help even of you only have basic knowledge of Spanish. Wine is inexpensive and you are not guided to most expensive. If you drink red try the Farina Primero €1.60 a glass

Thank Peter G

In 2003, we embarked with great enthusiasm in a gastronomic adventure. Our desire was to develop and consolidate Santander Spanish cuisine at its most traditional and popular way: "The pincho" . Reflecting the high quality of our skewers, Casa Lita has received numerous awards and various press mentions and appearances on television, both national and international.

High quality "pinchos" prepared at the moment.

Our cook, Joseba Guijarro , who in his long career has won a prestigious Michelin star , is in charge daily to buy on the market the freshest and best quality products to make "pinchos" you can taste daily in Casa Lita . All our "pinchos" come to the bar freshly made, as they are made to order , so that our customers can enjoy this form of the best Spanish gastronomy through authentic cuisine of "pincho".
