Very special anterior full of bottles of wine. Great selection. Looks like a place that has been there for ages. The food was very tradional with small upgrades that give a twist like the shrimps with the Russian salad, which was very nice. Service was very good. Well recomended

Friendly, warm welcome in a wonderfully rustic setting. Staff extremely accommodating and patient with non-Spanish speaking customers. Food was very tasty, seafood particularly good with many local specialties included on the menu. Would recommend

Lovely place to visit. Didn't try the food but it looks good. The place is like a museum for wine. From the street looks tiny but once inside it opens up .

Lovely jamon and a breath-taking cheeses. The wine was incredible indicated by the waiter. Probably one of the best lunches we've had here in santander! Service amazing and professional as well. (also vegetarian option of amazing vegetables)

From the story of the restaurant itself, to the amazing wine bottles and other related items on display you could amuse yourself here all day. Add to this a good house wine with tasty pinchos and you have a great bar. On the restaurant side, the waiters were very attentive. The kitchen staff were hard working but relaxed and well... More

We can't fault this place. Visited for the first time two years ago and just had a tapas and a glass before sailing, this time we made a point of making it for lunch and we're glad we did. The service was really courteous and friendly, the wine was blissful, the John Dory perfect. All in the most Spanish setting.... More

My wife and I happened upon this restaurant on a walk in Santander. The inside is really beautiful and very old Spanish looking. We both loved the decor and were very much looking forward to a fish meal. The waiter was lovely and we got an aperitif of a shot of gazpacho. All brilliant so far. So we ordered our... More

Good pincho's here, friendly staff and a great selection of Cantabrian food. We did not eat in the restaurant but the food looked good and it was busy. I can recommend the pinchos for a light bite.

Very attentive service, lovely and cozy atmosphere, great food and wine. Had the octobus and the steak to share (1kg so plenty to share!!). Especially house red wine(ribera), but also white wine(albarino) were very good, not some random table wines. A bit expensive.

Went for early evening pintxos. Found wonderful cave like restaurant, wonderful aromas and walk to wall wine memorabilia. Very friendly staff who understand sign language. Great choice of wines. And the food was fantastic, especially the pork belly, cheese plate and Iberico. Two hours of fabulous stuff cost Euro 36.

Thank Martin G
