Went here after hearing good things on tik tok. As we arrived they were slow to greet us so we were left awkwardly standing around for a few minutes. Ordered starters and mains and the food came out very quickly. I had the garlic prawns which were delicious and my partner had the garlic bread which was also very nice. The mains arrived before our starters had been cleared which was odd. We both had pizzas which were again very nice. I had a beer which was nice but I was left trying to catch the eye of a server and couldn't manage to order another which was a shame. Overall the food was very good but the service could've been better, although food was served extremely quickly. The view and location of the waves are amazing nonetheless.

We had dinner at the Pomodoro restaurant in El MĂ©dano, choosing pizza. The restaurant offers a simple and informal atmosphere, ideal for an unpretentious dinner.
The pizza turned out to be average: the base was thin and well cooked, but the topping did not stand out for flavor or originality. A suitable choice if you are looking for something quick and practical, without too many expectations.
Overall, sufficient experience, but with room for improvement in the quality of the dishes.

We where greeted by a friendly Waiter, who allowed me to pick our table as I wanted one with the best views.
This restaurant has AMAZING views! It is set in the cliff side with views across the bay and beach area.
Price: The food was incredibly well priced. We paid €30 for 1x starter, 2x mains & 2x beers with a €4.50 tip.
Food: Came out fresh, hot and well presented.
We ordered a garlic-cheese roll starter, bolognaise pizza & carbonara to share, as we could t decide between pasta & pizza so opted to order one of each and 1/2 them between the two of us (we often to this).
The garlic-cheese roll and bolognaise pizza where delicious. The carbonara however was really bland and lacked flavour - this is why I have rated 4* instead of 5.
Service: The staff where friendly, and attentive. They also spoke good English, which made our lives easier given we speak only a little Spanish.

We came here, because the restaurant next door was closed and it looked like a decent place with a nice view. What a mistake it was!
Service was unbelievably slow, it took 45 minutes before anything arrived - the youngest in our group was screaming from hunger before the food came. When it arrived it was a disappointment across the board. Fish was clearly a deep frozen fillet, most likely unfrozen in microwave and not spiced, even pasta was devoid of taste and with water left from boiling it. Absolute culinary disaster, whoever cooked there on Jul 8, 2024 should not just be fired but get a lifetime prohibition from getting anywhere near any kitchen. In retrospect it would have been better to buy a sandwich on a petrol station than eat this junk. I have eaten in many places around the world but this easily makes into the bottom 10 worst restaurants ever - certainly the worst food I was served in Tenerife during my many stays here.
And, since it was me who suggested going there I had to then endure the wrath of the whole family until the end of that day ruined by this establishment.

The restaurant is a little hidden but it is worth finding. The view from the tables over the bay of Dan Telmo is breathtaking. The staff welcomes guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. The menu is in several languages and everything from international cuisine to regional cuisine is represented. Eating with children is no problem here and the prices are absolutely reasonable.

The place is spectacular, we had the experience of a few years ago, and surely it has had to change management, because it has drastically worsened. We ordered a bruschetta, which was soaked in oil and the mozzarella, almost negligible, some frozen fish churros and some Inedible sardines, the only good thing is that the price was not excessive. Obviously we will not repeat

It’s not delicious and very expensive compared to non-tourist restaurants, which serve very good food.
The bill was wrong twice!
I would definitely recommend to not go to this restaurant but rather to “el rustico” next door.

Absolutely fantastic view over the sea! Delicious food and very well priced for its location. Huge variety of food. We ordered two different pizzas and they were very tasty and came quickly. Service could be a little friendlier.

The location of this restaurant is fantastic. We’ve looked at it for years, but never been until tonight, so thought we’d give it a try.
We live in Tenerife, but still “on holiday” in Puerto de La Cruz.
This is not a restaurant. It’s fine if you want a pizza and a beer, but if you want good food, go elsewhere. Or go here for a drink with views, then move on for good food.
I ordered the solomillo steak for €21 but when it came it was the entrecôte which is €14 on the menu. It was also overcooked.
The food is put down, no table checking to ask if everything is OK, nothing. I ate my steak because no one came near, but I ordered a medium fillet and got a well done sirloin.
The chips, patatas bravas are all frozen If you like luke warm frozen cheap chips, then this is the place for you. If you like properly cooked fresh food, then look elsewhere.
They need to stick to pizzas, which is their level of cooking.
When the waitress finally appeared to take the plates, I hold her it wasn’t solomilllo and was entrecôte, she tried to tell me I was wrong, I know the difference between the two, but she shrugged her shoulders at me, and walked off.
Needless to say, we didn’t leave a tip.
This is a pizza and beer place, no more!

Absolutely awful. Husband had carbonara and if you closed your eyes it could have been anything, just a gloopy gooey substance on a plate really. My food was okay (Mexican beef) but not worth even the €10/11 small cost. The service was abysmal. We were early around noon, not many patrons at this point. It steadily got busier and busier and despite ordering early we watched as people came and went, those arriving half an hour after us got their food and we were still waiting. There was clearly a screwup but rather than apologise they just avoided us. I wouldn’t come back if it was free.

This place is very nicely located directly sea, but is somewhat hidden as it shares the space with another. According to the operator, this has been around since 1980.
Food was authentic and prices quite fair for this tourist corner.
The service didn't have the best day, but was ok if you don't need full service.

Friendly, smiley staff, good service.
Food was ok - we ordered bruschetta, garlic prawns and potatoes with tomato sauce. We were expecting something similar to patatas bravas for the potatoes but it was plain cubed potatoes with a drizzle of ketchup.
However, the food was decent for a quick lunch, and the service from the staff was very good. The setting of the restaurant, under the arches with views of the sea, was gorgeous.

Went there as it was on great location and it had a great view. Wanted to try tapas and we took their mix which had some goat, potatoes, fish and something with chickpeas. After that we took some cuttlefish as they ran out of squid and sirloin which was cooked as requested. Everything was great, waiters were friendly and definitely would recommend it!

A windy night in January we ordered a Valencia paella (rabbin and chicken meat) and a pizza Margarita, and 2 beers with a small bottle of water. The bill ended at 42 € (paella was 28 € for 2 persons). Value for money was OK.
The food was average +. Paella was well cooked but lacked a bit of spices. The pizza had crispy thin but not burnt bread, the mozzarella topping tasted well. As some reviews points out a bit "greasy" but this is not health food pizza.
Final conclusion is - not a big tourist trap. You get ok food at average price. Views are stunning, but bring windproof clothes in chilly and windy conditions.

If you have Italian pizza in mind, this won't be the case. We took two margherita pizzas, the dough is quite dry and without salt the tomato is salty, perhaps to compensate for the lack of salt in the dough. In addition there is too much raw processing flour. Without infamy and without praise. Eatable.
