This restaurant is amazing! The staff are friendly, it is very nicely decorated, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the steak! It is excellent value for money. If you are in the area make sure you pay this restaurant a visit.

Marco has been here for many years . The staff including his lovely wife are most helpful. The food is excellent and the wines good. I cannot wait for my next meal and my half bottle of Presas Ocampo. He will perhaps guess now who is writing this . Only a mean spirit could write a bad review of such... More

My wife ordered a very good fish entree, and I went with the owner's recommendation of codillio de cerdo, which I believe was an entire boiled hamhock. Both were good hearty traditional dishes and, though perfect for the blacksmiths who originally worked in this old building, about twice as much food as we could handle. We would have loved to... We went here yesterday evening with high hopes after reading tripadvisor, but were very disappointed. The service was ok but nothing spectacular. The starters were unnessecarily huge, and sloppy. And the main courses were really nothing special at all, the tastes just wasn't there to be honest. We had some of the fish they recommended. Also when we said we... More

I asked local inhabitant to recommend me a good restaurant nearby. Is it good? I asked. The lady said for me: "It is the best." (Last day of our holiday I said thank you for her for the recommendation) La Herreria is a family owned restaurant strongly recommend to everyone. Delicious foods, nice interior, friendly hospitality, frendly staff. After the... More

Ate at this restaurant twice as we enjoyed it so much the first time we went there. Seems to be a family affair with very friendly staff . Food was good and the service was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would visit again if we return to Puerto de la Cruz.

Stumbled across this authentic restaurant and went back that night for a meal, 6 people. We all said it was the best meal of the week. The food was superb with the chateaubriand cooked at the table by the chef/owner. A really great meal with good wine enjoyed by all, The inside had a really nice traditional feel. Highly recommended.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend and wasn't disappointed, the host Marcos is very attentive and friendly. The best Oxtail I have ever had and the rest of the food too. Would definitely recommend

Went here as high stars on trip advisor. The staff were really friendly and the building has loads of history as a cobblers - even though outside it has flashing lights and is painted pink! The food was ok - a lot of it! We had a portion of fresh hake that was Huge! The owner couldn't do enough for... More
