If you want a home away from home meal then get yourself down to this place, the Sunday lunch is fabulous, Jimmy and David are extremely welcoming as are the regulars, it is better to book for Sunday just incase they are busy, this is a great place for food or drinks we will definitely be going back

If you want something more familiar then this is the place for you. Large portions of good british grub and a friendly welcome, sunday dinner is worth booking as its full restuarant ex pats come from all over. More for the more mature crowd although im sure weekend evenings are lively

This small restaurant looks nothing on the outside but inside it is a typical English pub with a warm welcome from jimmy. The service can be slow on busy nights but the wait is well worth it the food is very good and a good pint of English beer. If you have pork or fish make sure you have the... More

Everyone is so friendly and Jimmy and David willing to chat with everyone, and David is also willing to share his endless funny stories and Jokes. While Jimmy is keeping you served at the bar David is dishing up wonderful meals from the... More

What a wonderful place, we were looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch and I searched on the Internet and this place came up. We found friendly company, a good laugh and a fabulous meal. Jimmy and Dave lent us a kettle without knowing us at all. So kind and it made such a difference to the rest of our stay.... More

We went for a nightcap after reading the reviews - wished we hadn't bothered. The place looks like a scruffy social club with tons of cheap paper bunting strewn all over the ceiling and walls, rather than a British pub. The atmosphere was 'morgue like' with awful music and few customers. The red wine on tap tasted watered down and... More
