While enjoying our visit out to San Miguel de Tajao, & thoughts turn to drinks & a snack. Not that easy here as every restaurant here was heaving with 'locals' & are very very big in fish. Also there are no little bars So us...non fish eating 'English' didn't really fit. But this place were happy to put up with us & served us much needed drinks plus some very nice croquettes with Garlic dip, plus some bread. A big thank you to the very hard working, welcoming (patient) staff. If you like Fish this village is a must for you.More

Great food for great prices. I took scorpion fish and it was delicious. Also shrimps were super tasty. Big salad and potatoes were more than enough. Maybe the place doesn’t look chic , but food is for 5 stars.

A very good fish restaurant located in a small village away from the motorway, but where you can enjoy the best fresh seafood dishes on the island, while prices are 50% cheaper than the whole Tenerife meadow. Meals are made just from the seafood you...choose from the fresh-fish store, and if you do not want a particular way of making it, it is done at the discretion of the tree. At the same time, since Spanish is not proficient and the service providers do not speak English much, then it is not possible to prepare the chef's cook with his own creations. Foods were very good, I would recommend to choose squid, shrimp, octopus and fresh fish.More

Have been to Tajao several times and have always been impressed with the quality of fish/seafood and the quality of cooking.... But not always the service. I have to admit, we went to Restaurante Playa Tajao because the restaurant we intended to go to was...closed, but it was a blessing in disguise. We asked then to recommend something for us and they recommended grilled Alfonsino (Red Bream) which was amongst the best fish dishes we have ever had. But everything else was excellent too - the croquettes, the Canarian potatoes, the barraquito coffee and the house wine. All perfect. A memorable meal and it will be top of the list of restaurants to visit the next time we are in Tenerife.More

Sea food at it's best and fresh as it gets! Atmosphere is very enjoyable. Great service. After dinning a walk to near located beach is recommended.

We were a group of friends and have shared many dishes. All the fish was great, and we paid nothing compared to the quality. The only negative note, waiters were not super friendly. All in all a positive experience!

Really nice fresh fish restaurant. People are very friendly, the tapas (fresh fish tapas) are the best we have eaten in canaries, the fishes are really good, with home made french chips or local papas. The price is very cheap for the quality (50€ for...4 persons with a lot of grilled tapas, 2 beers, 1 big sangria, 2 big grilled fishes to share and 5 desserts. The customers are local people, that's a proof of the quality of the restaurant. In a really nice little harbor, away from all the tourists areas, really quiet. Perfect !More
