We visited the market twice in a 5-day visit to Palma as the food we bought to take away the first time was so delicious we just had to go back for more. Superb tortillas españolas and mushroom and pepper salad from one stall, wonderful (and huge) roast beef sandwiches from another, and lovely tiramisu from a third. There is... More

This Farmer's market is fully stocked, although doesn't offer much fish. For packaged and other household items I use the supermarket located upstairs. Getting fresh ingredients for my family is a one stop shop!

Mercado del Olivar is a must see for those wanting to experience a true spanish market place. The vendors are very creative with showcasing their products and it is a feast for the eyes, ears and nose! There are countless stalls selling fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, fish, even traditional Mallorcan kitchen utensils and crafts. Amongst the vendors, there are also... More

This market rivals La Boqueria in Barcelona. We consider it a must visit when one is in Palma. The fish market and the eating stands are particular standouts. (We have reviewed the four eating stands we visited separately.) The market is popular with both tourists and locals. In short, if you want a feel for the real Mallorca, this is... More

Lots of excellent food purveyors and Mallorcan merchandise in this classic super clean Spanish market. Had a pre-lunch vermut with a variety of cocas (flatbreads) and bought a few woven Mallorcan bags. Lots to check out and the market is bustling.

Difficult to go wrong with sushi and sashimi based in a fish market! We were happy with the quality of the selection we chose accompanied by crisp white wine and Sapporo beer Great for lunch while visiting the market

Lots to see and the selection of food is amazing. Had a lovely lunch at one of the food stands which was cheap and excellent standard. Great for a walk round in the cool. If it's too big for you or you are other end of town similar smaller market at Santa Cantalina

Definitely the best market in Mallorca, where you will find all kinds of local specialties from cheese and meat to oysters. I loved the oyster bar, don't miss it. Also you can find lots of places to try paellas, tapas and much more. A must for foodies.
