You would walk past this place and right it off. First appearances are of a so so tapas restaurant that churn out average quality. It's far far better than that. All dishes are super tasty and fresh plus great value. We always visit on our first night in Palma

The atmosphere is typical Spanish. The food is excellent and the staff very nice. We have been here three times and can definitely recommend this restaurant. Not very expensive.

We were taken here by friends and the food was really great, big portions for sharing. I really enjoyed the mushrooms, cheese, aioli and the boqueroni Fritos were superb, really divine and we had great service. Only complaint the food came too quickly I would order in 2 tranches rather next time

Had dinner here last night and it was a good experience. The food was delicious and the portion size was generous. The restaurant has a lot of character, it feels like you're in a cave. I will probably go back one more time while I'm in Palma. Don't take it personally when the staff is not overly friendly, they are... More

OK food, OK Service. But large plates! Easy to make a mistake and order too much. The best bit is the speed. Food arrives very quickly so great if you want to just nip in.

I visited the restaurant this evening for a meal with my wife. The food itself was perfectly adequate - far from incredible but acceptable for what it was. My issue was with the rude, dismissive waiter serving us. The issue came from me trying to speak some Spanish when ordering my meal. I am unfortunately not by any means great... More

Amongst the best tapas I've had in Palma. This bustling friendly restaurant in La Llonja has a wonderful menu, really good service, and delicious food. The octopus was incredible, as tender and succulent as the finest scallops, the gambas were plump and juicy with lots of garlic, the padron peppers perfectly cooked and wonderfully salty, the dates wrapped with bacon... We ate here on our final night in Palma and it was by far the best meal we had. We liked the look of the menu displayed outside and at 7.30 there was barely a table available, which was a very good sign (a few restaurants we had looked at nearby were empty). We have been to various resorts in... More

We were visiting Palma for a long weekend in March and wandering through the city we discovered this narrow street of restaurants. All of which looked great. We chose this restaurant as it was busy (a good sign, we thought). We were put onto a table for 4 so they split the layout in two tables of two, but the... More

Octopus, grilled mixed meat kebab, chicken croquettes, lamb chops. Would have liked to be a bigger party and sample a few more! All delicious and washed down with a bottle of red.

Sa Volta and La Cueva were two adjoining Tapas bars owned and run by the Nieto brothers. (I think their parents established them.) Sa Volta was TINY but they have now connected the two bars and they are packed out every night. The food is incredible. The service is excellent.
