This is an unimposing, but relaxing café/restaurant, close to the theatre and opposite the Gran Hotel. Service was pleasant and the wines cheap-to-reasonable. We had tapas, comprising grilled vegetables (excellent asparagus, with courgettes and aubergines), chopped eggs, chorizo and fried potatoes. Satisfying, tasty and economic.
Awful food. Spanish Omelette described as freshly made was bullet-hard and inedible. The other dishes were just as bad. The historical facade of the attached cake shop is nice but the restaurant should be avoided at all cost"
Located in Placa Weyler, Forn des Teatre was easy to find as it was right beside the Theater. The decorative sign out front was also helpful in locating the shop on this busy street. We stopped by to sample a flaky spiral pastry called ensaimadas....More
