I had to give it a star because zero is not possible. DO NOT COME in this place, food is terrible, so expensive and so s**t. We ordered a tuna salad and that’s what they gave us (see picture) and they even forgot to put the tuna in the salad. However, forgetting the fish was not a problem for us. The issue was that when you order a 20/23 euros of a salad you expect the fish to be at least fresh. On the other hand, they brought us a plate with some canned tuna on it. What a shame.

Our captain booked this place as we left reservation to last min and I guess this is the only place that could accommodate and it was full. I presume full of people that couldn't get reservation elsewhere. Food was OK but nothing special, certainly not worth the prices that they charge. Our waiter did try his best, but the place has no ambience and you sit on a plastic table with plastic chairs with no music or anything. We ate, we left and would recommend people get a reservation in advance somewhere else.

very poor, regretted entering this place. Stunning setting but staff borderline rude, very unaccommodating, pretty much everything we asked for got the answer "its not possible"
50 euros for a meal that wasn't worth 10 at a push! such a shame, my guess is its only surviving because by the time most people have walked there, there are no other options.! AVOID AVOID

I’ve spent a week in Formentera with a friend and we had lunch almost every day at Es Ministres. We had a very good experience both on food side (fresh fish and tasty meals with good portions and good wines selection) and on service (waiters have been very friendly, kind and professional). Prices are not cheap, but in line with the average range you pay almost everywhere in Formentera. I would recommend it!

so i went with my kids to park the car here, because the plan was to swim to espalmador island, and its the closest point to it....so when we went back from it, starving obviously, this was our first choice. it looked good from outside. i remember it from a few years ago, when it was just bad in all senses, so thought there might be a change in ownership or whatever.
once seated, got menus and prices where shocking. we live in Ibiza and know the prices of the good places. but these where even over it. somehow I still believed this could be a quality place, especiallly after I saw the waiter preparing a sangria in a really sofisticating way, on the table. so much sofisticating, that once you received tour food, and the waiter started to prepare it, you finished the food when he finished the preparation of the sangria ;) somehow I found it funny, because I still believed in the place. only after I saw the pasta bolognese for 22€ on the kids menu I understood whats goining on. and tastet it.
to be fair, ceviche was ok and also the calamari, if they would have charge half price.
so, if you get list in the are like we did, i think it's ok to get in this trap, but never go there on purpose.

Very disappointing: prices are not only high, these are sickening. 34 Euro for a small portion of Buratta on a little bit of salad.
Sangria was good, but the waiter was doing the presentation - as if he is tried or as if he was doing us a favor.
We were not very hungry and since we said that we would only to have drinks, the already little friendliness of the staff has disappeared completely. They were standing in the corner and discussing us.
We had to call four times to get the attention of the waiter. It is not an only restaurant in Formentera. Stay away, in order not to spoil your entire holidays.

A clear example of somewhere that offers a lot and delivers little. Calamari looked pretty but it was tepid when it arrived. Our sea bass was ‘deboned’ at the table and it was full of fish bones. For some reason when I asked if the salad had tomatoes (which it did, 4 cherry tomatoes @ €25!!) the waitress thought I was cancelling the salad order which then of course arrived late. I understand that you are at a premium place and that you will have to pay more, but €180 for a plain salad and two mains, no wine or dessert feels like you are being ripped off. If the food had been amazing you could probably justify the price tag but it wasn’t. Mediocre food with mediocre service. Take a sandwich to the beach and safe yourself some money!

We popped in here for a quick couple glass of wine and paella as a pit stop on our walk. We sat is plastic chairs and was served by a lovely lady. After, a gentalman got involved with the service and put items on our table that we didn’t ask for- the bill then came and was €101 for paella and 4 small glasses of wine. He added onto the bill items we didn’t ask for and when we asked for him to removed it, he started to raise his voice in Spanish and was being so rude. Such bad hospitality and the paella was absolutely nothing spectacular. We both eat out regularly and agreed that this was the worst service we had experienced and for the price. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I wish I checked reviews before going to this place. Unprofessional service. Ridiculous prices. Asked for French fries for our 11 year old, they said they can only give as a side dish, and since we are having two Paella, that doesn't go as side dish. So, we changed and asked for a grilled fish for two, so we can have French fries. At the end we got a grilled fish for two and French fries with 2 glasses of sangria for EURO 214 .- .
Asked for some bread and olives, which is free in most places in Spain , and they charged 8 Euros for that, literally there was little more than 8 olives, which meant 1 Euro per olive.... Never ever again to this place ...

Ten euros for a bottle of water. 42 euros for a steak the size of a large egg and some sad looking vegetables. Steamed mussels means what it says. Mussels, steamed, and put on a plate with nothing else. Horrendous bill for woeful food. Nice view though. Should have packed some sandwiches.

We thought coming here at peek time at 1 o’clock would be a difficulty with or just how busy it was. We looked at the receptions face who had lovely smile. She told use we would only have to wait 15 minutes for a table and offered us a place at the bar. Within 10 minutes we were seated at our table where we had a phenomenal service and food experience

We had a very nice lunch of several salads. The staff - from the host to server and person who cleared the table were all friendly. This is a busy restaurant but everyone still has a smile and happy to help. Food was attractively presented and tasty. The location is unbeatable right on the beach. Some reviewers complained of the prices, and each of the three starters we had were € 30, among the least expensive menu items. Most entrees of meat and fish were € 50-100+, but we had a good time and a delicious meal right on the beach and absolutely would go again.

Unless you're spending €100 per person at least, the staff are surly and irritable. Bookings must be made well in advance, and when you do, you'll wonder why you bothered.
The setting IS impressive - the beach is amazing. Take the restaurant away from the setting though and put it in a city centre, it would close down in a month. It really is that bad.

We ordered two nacho dishes. We got about 10 nacho-chips per dish with guacamole and some sort of bolognese sauce with it. That costs 18 euro per dish !
1,80 euro per 1 chips is a crazy price. Never ever go there. A beer costs 8 euro’s. Crazy. Insane. Could be a lovely place if they would fix this and just put some honest food for a fair price on the table. Do something about it please. The restaurant doesn’t deserve this beautifull location. Sorry, but you don’t.

Very overpriced.. i had a starter salmon poke bowl for €33.. happy to pay a premium when the menu is exceptional but this was a basic menu full of overpriced items. We also experienced the cranky toilet lady mentioned in another review.. The setting is stunning however thanks to formenteras naturally beautiful turquoise seas and white sands
