Had the lovelz 60 euro per person menue which includes wine,a fair price considering the excellent quality! The avocado guacamole with smoked eel to die for, the tuna with soy sauce or the carpaccio version with roasted pistacchio brillant and the piglet as needs be. Together with red Izadi this was an absolutely lovely lunch with very friendly service and... More

Four of us spent a great five days eating and sightseeing our way from Bilbao to Hondaribbia to San Sebastian and then the Rioja region, where we had our last dinner in Zaldiran. As everyone comments, it is quite formal in terms of decor and service and beautifully laid tables but lots of space between them so you can relax... More

true Michelin quality food, reasonable prices, very good wine list. You need to try it if in Rioja region, it's significantly above the other non-Michelin restaurants you can find in the area (even the really good ones). the only minus is maybe on service side: the waiters could show a bit more of a smile / have a more approachable... I have tried countless restaurants all over the world but this was the first michelin star restaurant I´ve ever had the "pleasure" of trying so obviously I was very exited. Having lived in Vitoria a few years I had heard alot of good things about this place. When I entered the restaurant I was met by a guy who apparently... More

We'd been driving all day, wanted a nice meal, this place is posh and we were kind of scruffy looking so i felt a bit out of place going in but the staff were friendly and welcomed us nicely. They were able to deal with our dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely delicious - all courses were lovely, wine was... More

HIgh level restaurant in the center of the town, one michelin star. Service is ok, food is good and it is famous because of the excellent tartar. They make it in front of you. Good value

Well deserved 1 star michelin. From the tasting menu everything was excellent. The fried kokotxas was my least favorite dish. probably they should choose something that it is not fried for a tasting menu in a 1 michelin star restaurant, but everything else was outstanding. The cochinillo was the best one I ever had. This is what I mean from... More

My husband and I tried the lunch tasting menu and every course was super delicious and beautifully presented. The service was so incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived 20 minutes late and they sat us downn right way without any fuss. I would highly recommend it to people and it's worth the trip out there if it's not on your... More

Of the three one-star restaurants that I ate in in the Basque country, this one was the cheapest and quite possibly the tastiest. The food looked simpler than in the other places, and the presentation was more conventional, but it was delicious. Everything was very good, from the openers to the dessert.
