We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary while in San Sebastián and wanted to go somewhere special for the occasion. We had our 3 teenage kids with us. A reviewer on this website suggested Ikaitz and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful. We each had different dishes....our kids... More

Having booked dinner online through TripAdvisor, we arrived a little early as it turned out before the restaurant was properly open. Staff were very friendly and did everything to make us feel welcome while they completed their final preparations. We were recommended the freshly picked mushrooms as a starter which were absolutely delicious. We both had fish for our main... More

We booked this restaurant on-line which was very straightforward. While we were there (we had booked for 8.30pm) the majority of other diners were tourists. Service was quite slow but the staff were caught up with another table that had arrived earlier and who seemed to have rather complicated dietary requirements. While we found the staff friendly and helpful (the... More

Fantastic food, wine and service. Compared to the price this is one of the best restaurants we have ever visited. We'll love to come back.

Spent a bit of time deciding on a restaurant with good reviews in the Gros area and picked Ikaitz. Also a bonus you can book online with The Fork. The greeting waitress was extremely friendly and made us feel at home as she translated the choices on the set menu. My wife and I both chose this and we picked... More

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime with four friends, the food was fantastic I would recommend the slow cooked lamb but not a bad course was had by any of us. A special mention for the service which was excellent A real treat

Our family of five spent a nice evening at this excellent restaurant. All the dishes were delicately prepared, and very tasty. Highly recommended :-)

Recommended by our host, it was a short walk from our Gros apartment. We were set on a steak dinner as part of our meal plan, which wouldn't have been the first reason to come here, but after a couple of perfectly seasoned entrecôtes, we were really pleased. The starters were probably too substantial, which is an unusual observation. The... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by pension ondarra & what a cracking find. It's downstairs with only a small entrance. Setting is bistro style and on offer was a 3 corse set menu for €18 each including a bottle of wine to share. We shared a quiche with salad & mushroom volavent as a starter, confit duck & also...
