Tapas bar in the old town area. Nothing wrong with it. Had a selection of tapas and a couple of beers. Pleasant enough service. Maybe being a bit harsh but having just spent the previous night on Logrono’s famously tapas trail, we felt that a...couple of the four dishes we had were somewhat ‘ordinary’. This is a traditional pintxos bar located in the old town at the northern edge one one of the most popular streets in San Sebastien. This was our third stop on our Evening Pintxo-Tapas Tour with Discover San Sebastián - along the quieter northern edge of the Parte Vieja (Old Town). Nearly eighty years old and operated by 3rd generational owners, it is distinguished by a narrow but comfortable bar...with a long deep counter laden with plate after plate of pintxos. Our guide brought us freshly-prepared fried mixed cheese balls (fragrant and creamy) and salmon with anchovies (smoky and very unami). High quality, well conceived and super tasty. We went to this bar several times as it wasn’t too busy and the food was good and the service pleasant. It is a nice place for a drink and a pintxos
Try the octopus - very good! Mushrooms brocheta were also great. Good friendly staff. not too small.
Average spot well worth giving it a miss to be honest, sandwiches were dry and the rest of the pinxtos weren’t looking too good either
Stopped here for a pintxos and wine with family. Staff were friendly and good seating area. Lots of great and similar bars in the old town.
Enjoyed a nice Sunday lunch of fresh and delicious pintxos (small plates/tapas). Very good food and friendly service.
Good Pintxos, but was not our favorite. Lots of space with tables to sit which was a nice break from the crowded bars.
