This restaurant provided an amazing array of culinary delights at a very reasonable price. Our fixed menu included razor clams, quail, a ham bisque with shortbread croutons- with two desserts. Add some delicious Spanish wines and you have a wonderful dining experience. Our server was very attentive as well- We highly recommend this special spot in San Sebastian!

Based off a recommendation from the NYT we hit up this interesting looking spot in parte Virgo. The decor is trendy with a flair for the alternative. We only tried one item, which was the mini burger with chips. Was just OK.

While the decoration is really nice, and the food is original (changes from regular pintxos, more creative), the waitress was terrible and yelled at us twice like on school kids for not hearing when she called us, second time was really disrespecftul and we were a bit chocked being treated like this (especially considering the price of the food...). We... More

I adore the pinxtos culture of San Sebastián but I always run the risk of getting too full too early on (a pint sized traveller!) This was a welcome respite where I was able to just have a drink in a lovely bar setting and could then order pinxtos as required. Great vibe, lovely wine and IPA on tap (if... More

This pintxos bar differs from many of the traditional pintxos bars in that the pintxos are modern and freshly made. Don't be put off by the lack of food on display. Ask the team behind the bar for a menu in your language and get ordering! They'll make it fresh and get it to you quickly. The bar also has... More

We had the veggie tempura (which was amazing) and an array of pintxos (similar to tapas). The mini Kobe burger is worth getting, for sure. The beers are amazing as well and most importantly the hosts were super nice. Even though we sat far from the bar, they insisted that we pay at the end of the meal so we... More

We went here twice after a recommendation of a local friend. The first time only for drinks, because the kitchen was closed in the late afternoon. We stayed for a few beers and some pickled snacks. The staff was nice! The second time, we had a few pintxos. They are definitely more expensive than other places, but the quality is... More

Situated on 31 De Agosto, this gem has been around for some time and makes great Pintxos. We had the Mckobe (mini kobe beef burger), Ortiguillas (sea anemone), Porru Patathai (tradional potato, leek, carrots and dish with an oriental twist), all paired with Terrible crianza from Ribera del Duero and the Basque Land Project beer (IPA). Each dish held up... More

You're paying for the star and the presentation. Food is of course on par. Don't see the food and you can't judge via the prices. So somehow you can end up with a bill 3-5x what you expect. Good but not great. But 5 stars for service.
