We booked ahead and had the tasting menu: full of great flavours and beautifully presented, this restaurant offers a nice twist on the pinxtos theme. Everything we tried was top quality and full of flavours, and I enjoyed every dish. The evening was also made memorable by our waitress - Irati - passionate and full of energy, she made a... More

A well-rounded rock'n roll dining experience. We had the 12-course 'best of 10 years' tasting menu and were not disappointed. Great local products and flavours amazingly put together. Crab, avocado and licorice icecream sets the tone. Well worth a visit!

We loved this place as it was bigger than other pintxo bars. It had a restaurant seating area if standing is not your thing. It is slightly pricier than the usual pintxo bar but the quality I felt was better.the waygu burger was my favourite. Very tender and juicy. Shame it is a mini burger! The atmosphere is welcoming and... More

Important to book if you want a table in the small restaurant area, all tables were reserved when we got there. The bar was also full. To reserve though you need to book the €40 tasting menu. The lady that served us was great, very smiley and explained the food choices before and when she served us. The food was... More

Went here with 3 friends to try something different from regular pintxos. The staff is really friendly and even though the kitchen was closing in 10 min we got what we ordered. Great tasty food!

Had highlighted this as a must visit in advance and weren't disappointed. Started off with the intention of a pintxo crawl visiting the local hotspots, elbowed our way to the bar and didn't leave until closing! Good beer on tap including local Basque craft beers. Wide selection of wines by glass - all the ones we tried were good. Despite... More

I am a regular visitor to San Sebastian old part, as I am from a small town near here: I come to the old part, to taste its wonderful pintxos and atmosphere weekly. Years ago I decided to boycott this bar because I felt the pintxos were so tiny that I felt they were pulling my leg. After several years... More

We were taken here by a work colleague. We had a set menu which included a seemingly endless number of small dishes, which contained quite creative and unusual combinations of both ingredients and flavours – all of which tasted amazing. This was a totally different experience to anything else that we had in San Sebastian, including the fact that lunch... More

This was another of the pintxo bars that we were taken by local friends. The pintxos at Fuego Negro are not only tasty, but also very originals. It's hard to describe them, but if you can, you must try them.

This was an excellent little place, we only stayed for one drink and pintxo but we wished we stayed for more. Craft beer and mini Kobe burger gets my vote, perhaps one of the best burgers I've ever had!
