As Chef Elena has deceived it — “singular, Basque, evolving, research-based and avant-garde" Service is impeccable. Ambiance is very comfortable. Wine list is quite extensive. Perfect Meal!

Over the years, Arzak has acquired such a great international reputation that you think: if everyone think it's so good, then it must be so good. Well, it's not. Located about a 10-minute car ride away from the city center, the building that hosts it...More

San Sebastián is well known for it’s culinary scene and it’s Michelin starred eateries. My favorite travel host to follow was the late Anthony Bourdain. He was honest, crass, funny, and loved travel and food (as do I). When he visited San Sebastián, Bourdain pointed...More

Its one of those places you dream of visiting as a chef and it was incredible. Great new Basque cuisine with twists of flavours that Elena has picked up on her travels. The tasting menu was the perfect amount of courses, not overloading like some...More

Waited for months to finally get to Arzak after bookings and it really didn’t disappoint. Nothing molecular here, but more simple finely orchestrated dishes. Chef Arzak even stopped by to everyone’s table to say hello. It was a fun experience.

This dinind experience will not be forgotten. The attention to detail in the presentation only enhanced the food. Reservations may be hard to obtain, but the wait is well worth it.

Just like with sushi restaurants, I doubt anyone (other than the Michelin tasters) can seriously differentiate between a 2 star and 3 star restaurant. But here we were, in a 3 star place in San Sebastian. We chose the tasting menu and it was the...More
