We were recommended to this place by our hotel front desk staff as the best place to go for pintxos, but we were warned table reservations are not taken, and that because it gets very busy, if we wanted a table, we might have to...wait a while. That was indeed sound advice. We got there to find total mayhem. To say the place was “very lively” would come nowhere near close. People standing up to eight deep, along the full length of the counter, perfectly happy to eat and drink standing up. The same outside into the street. Unbelievably, we managed to bag one of the tables, as one became available at the very moment we walked in….there are only five tables in the whole place, so how lucky was that. The menu has an English section, so it was easy to follow. We were immediately attended to by Marco…..an incredibly efficient staff member, sharp as mustard, who assisted us with ordering some delicious morsels, such as the squid, the savoury meatballs, the pardon peppers, the baked cod, the anchovy on tomato, the foie gras, and the absolutely astonishingly good sea urchin….a first for me. All washed down with local cider. An incredible experience…..a great chance for a foreign visitor to meet and mix with the locals, who it has to be said, are the most friendly and helpful people you will find anywhere…..I urge you to try this place out….but be warned, it will be a pretty intense experience…..😀 Go visit the place, you will then see why this place is so rightly regarded by the locals…..More

An electric atmosphere with amazing food! We managed to get to the bar and ordered amazing pinxtos. Our server really looked after us! We loved the cheesecake, fois gras and croquettes. Everything was so good!! You’ve got to go here!More
