Lovely friendly, the little fish/mayo on slices of baguette was delicious. Wasn’t too busy when we went but got lucky as there was a festival parade.

This funky little bar serves appealing pintxos and plates. There is no seating and it gets crowded, even in winter. You have to push to the bar and signal attention. They seem to prefer to serve you, rather than you take a plate and self-serve.The...More

Really enjoyed myself and was surprised as the freshness of food matched the energy in the room. Glad to have eaten there, with so many choices in SS, this one was a great choice.

Went with a pintxos tour led by Luis (Airbnb). I enjoyed squid but non-seafood-eating hubby was treated to mushrooms sautéed in olive oil and garnished with an egg yolk which had phenomenal flavor.

It is the single best savory dish I can remember having...absolutely stunning. This is one of the best pinxtos (tapas) bars in old town San Sebastian, and they also operate a small restaurant downstairs. I am definitely booking a table next time......

This was one of our first stops on our very first pinxtos adventure. This place was featured on television on a food oriented show so we had to check it out. A lot more expensive than many of the other restaurants but worthwhile. I believe...More

Eat here as often as you can! We ate the crab tartlet and chorizo in croissant wraps. The best thing I ever had was the mushrooms, foie gras and egg dish! Never had a dish I wanted to bathe in like this one.
