This dish might possibly be my favorite dish EVER. Donostia is filled with great food, but it's hard to imagine anything as satisfying as this combination of three different mushrooms and foie topped with an egg.

There is no better pintxo in San Sebastián. I'm serious. Try the Grilled Foie Gras with artichoke. Or the grilled hake jowels. Or the famous mushroom, egg, and foie dish. Try anything. Fresh, exceptionally well prepared, and simply delicious. If you don't eat Ganbara while...More

Never been in this part of Spain and not having experienced the pintxos before. This was a superb experience. You must have the tuna with ansjovis, the egg with calamaris, croquetas jamon and certainly de plato with different mushrooms. Service was excellent and very friendly.

We sat down in the downstairs dining room for dinner. It was very quiet but it was nice to have a sit down meal (we had had a long day of pintxos bar hopping). I forget what fish we had but it was delicious and...More
