Once again Tripadvisor has come up trumps! This was our first stay in Bilbao (San Sebastien is usually our first 'foodie' choice) and this restaurant/tapas bar was a great find. It is a typical, bustling, Spanish tapas bar with a 'trendy' feel and a seating area too. Not formal at all - wooden tables, stools etc. We had reserved a... More

I guess I said it all with that title. 2 zones. A normal restaurant for all those that prefer a more comfortable atmosphere and a bar to eat like a local. Since we have a kid we got no choice but the restaurant. Meal after meal it was just getting better. Their ham it's probably the most delicious that I've... More

I was told, when in Bilbao, to pay a visit to Viña Del Ensanche. One of a kind experience, since we found Nerua, the Michelin starred Restaurant in Guggenheim, too expensive and went on looking for this one! 85€ for a wonderful meal for 2 persons, inclusive a bottle of Chardonnay and a bottle of champagne. Unforgettable!

The Risotto was to die for, the staff spoke English and were very helpful and friendly to the customers.

Too many people but fantastic food, specially all related to Jamón Serrano. It is worth the money and the calories

We arrived, no booking and miraculously there was 1 table free. The food is excellent, fresh and delicious. Best mozzarella salad I have ever had, smooth croquettes and yummy risotto. Probably wise to book, it's is really busy and deservedly so.

The 6 of us made reservations while we were back in usa to this restaurant because it was rated #1. Arrived 15-20 min late, the place was packed, but our table was still reserved, with my name on it. The waiter (who was extremely helpful) told us that because of our size we had to do tasting menu, and that... More

An exquisite place. Modern tavern where the basks go. It was full. But everyone was socializing while they were eating pintxos and glasses of wine outside. The food was delicious and the service 5stars. And all this for an economic price! A must go!

We took the advice of Trip Advisor and headed to La Vina and El Globo which is next door. La Vina has a very friendly atmosphere and the food is soooo good. I would recommend just going there, standing at the bar, looking at the photos of food (of which I am not usually a fan), choosing a Pincho and... More

With a tradition of more than 85 years, La Viña del Ensanche offers two different spaces: The Bar, traditional premise with the classic ambient of tavern, including a covered terrace. It's Degustation Menu includes the best products from our main carte. Is the best option for an informal contact with the rhythm and pulse of the town. The Taller (Workshop), an intimate ambient with a more exclusive service, with a Gastronomic Menu accompanied with a cellar of more than 150 references, all prepared live in front of the customer. Finally, the Store, a delicatessen where you can purchase gastronomic specialities and selected wine.
