We were very pleasantly welcomed here for dinner and enjoyed a really tasty and inexpensive dinner. The pork and the cod were both excellent. I had a lovely dessert with mango.

We were able to get a table for two as walk-ins at this busy restaurant. They offer both a usual menu and an express menu. There are 5-6 choices in each category and the food is tasty and well-presented. The wine included in the menu is quite drinkable and water is also included in the price. A good choice and... More

I would have given a higher rating but the potential that the location offers (and presumably prices itself upon) is not met by the reality found. Positives; the food, on a course by course basis, couldn't be faulted. In fact, most were lovely. Meal comes with a bottle of wine each! Negatives; pretty much everything else. The service was inattentive... More

We went for a meal on Sunday night and it was really quiet! We had cocktails on the balcony (it became our own personal balcony) and then had dinner in the restaurant with only 3 other tables in use. The food was brilliant but the place had no atmosphere, I'd recommend going somewhere in the centre or old town in... More

We booked this restaurant on-line which was very straightforward and we both chose from the Menu of the Day. My husband had grilled sardines followed by tuna, while I started with grilled vegetables followed by hake. We both had tiramisu for dessert. We enjoyed all our courses, the portions were generous and the 33eu per head including bread, water and... More

After several hours on our feet in the Guggenheim gallery we were ready for lunch and a longed for sit down. The decor is very attractive and the staff delightful. I ate roast anchovies on vegetables with a peppery tomato salsa, followed by hake with chard stalks and parsley. For dessert, I chose French toast with ice cream. My partner... More

This is good, well priced and the location cannot be bettered. If you are visiting the Guggenheim in Bilbao and find yourself hungry or in need of refreshment, this is the place to go. Outside terrace and indoors. The food is very good and the service efficient and friendly. For main meals or snacks / coffee. English spoken. Card payment... More

We stopped there for a pastry and coffee, nice financier with apple, rice and almond cake and Illy espresso. That was nice.

Recommandable Bistro after a long walk through the museum. Food was very good and the prices are affordable. They offer majorly a whole menue, but I would go for it again. The wine that comes with it is good and fits the menue. Personal is very nice and pays attention to the customer.

Description
Bistró Guggenheim Bilbao values a free style of cuisine, linked to its roots, to the memory of those dishes that are part of a culture and which need to be adapted to an avant-garde context, without losing neither flavors nor textures. Recipes and sauces are the foundation of our work, though refined, evolved and adapted for the general public that seeks savory, healthy cuisine, and an informal gastronomic experience.
