First time we went, we ordered Valencian paella and carabineros. Very rich in flavor but very little amount of rice. They do not cost anything to pour more rice per serving, it is cheap and at least 2 beautiful dishes would come out, but no, that said, little rice, and on average they are worth the paellas 40/45 €, which is not little

We went to the first meal shift (1.30pm) and had the menu reservation made. The waitress super nice recommended us a wine from Alicante that turned out to be quite good and soon brought us the first starter.
We had ordered a rice from the senyoret that was spectacular and ended up with a torrija, different from the one we are used to trying but very rich too.
They explained the composition of all the dishes and served them to us at a very good pace and without being overwhelming considering that at 15:00 there was a second shift of meals.
Highly recommended to eat a good rice and other plants in Bilbo.

Delicious rice, the basis of their proposal.
The portions are not very large and the croquettes, although delicious, seemed expensive to us. Good desserts. Excellent service, with Tamara at the helm, in a pleasant place. Interesting selection of wines at reasonable prices.

We enjoyed and tasted the croquettes (exquisite), donkey salad and salad to share. Black and senyoret rice. What to say about the desserts: yogurt ice cream with a passion fruit base, baked cheesecake and flambéed torrijas with coffee ice cream
And above all, impeccable attention. Thank you girls!!

Rice does well, although little amount for two people. I don't understand why they call it torrija why it is not, it is a dessert that they have invented and they call it torrija, but it is neither a torrija nor anything like it. Sorry, we are in Bilbao and here we have eaten spectacular torrijas all our lives.

The place is very nice and pleasant, we liked it a lot. The service was wonderful, both the waitress and the cooks were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the portions were very small. We have spent summers in Castellón for 18 years and we are lovers of paella and of course, we have visited many places specialized in Paella and in all of them, you can even repeat sometimes, you leave a portion in the full paella pan.
In Sokarrar, the rice was delicious but we only had enough for 2 servings, in fact, we left hungry. It would be nice if they were a little more generous with the portions. To compare, at La Barraca we paid the same and we were able to repeat.

Simple restaurant, located in Bilbao La Vieja, specializing in rice dishes. Friendly staff. Always very busy, we had tried to reserve several times without success. When we finally managed to go, the rice they served us seemed just okay, compared to other rice restaurants in Bilbao. Perhaps because of the opinions we had heard we expected more.

The best paellas in Bilbao by far. I love to go occasionally to eat rice like I'm home. In addition l'all i pebre and the rap suquet that are two of the starters that must be ordered to order are also spectacular. I've lost count of how many times we've gone.

We ordered two different rice dishes and both were very good. In my personal opinion, a little over salted, but I would generally repeat. The service was very good and the atmosphere was good. A quiet place to be with friends, family or partner.
It doesn't seem like a cheap place to go to constantly, but good quality pays for it.

We ate senyoret rice, very delicious. Good portion and waiting time just enough to eat good rice. Delicious torrija dessert and idiazabal cheese ice cream. To drink a good bull wine. Everything x €72. Very pleasant service, nice and in Basque which is appreciated. The place is small and cozy and very charming. We will return for sure.

The place is not in the fanciest area of Bilbao but it's worthy to pay a visit.
The menu is quite short, but all we tried was really tasty.
The service was excellent as well. I definitely recommend it.

Paella mariscos (shrimp, squids, fish) was very good. And we went a second time and had with a discount the paella bogavente (lobster) and was good also. The music is nice. The service is nice. Definitely a good place to eat a paella.

We have eaten again in this restaurant and have verified that they continue to maintain the same quality, both in the products to be tasted and the treatment of the staff.
It is a small but very welcoming place, the treatment is very personal and you feel very comfortable.
Their strong dishes and living up to their name, are the paellas in their different versions, although I would invite them to change the paprika they add for choricero pepper pulp (which is more Bilbao).
The rest we tried, salad, Titaina, Burrata salad, desserts etc. met expectations.
