An excellent value for Sundy late lunch, you get a starter, main course, dessert and a bottle of wine or cider for under 20 eur! Food is tasty and service is very fast. Nice decor as well.

Beautiful dining room, dark wood, tiles & murals, feels unchanged since it opened (1903?). Food excellent, and also great value, so much so that we ate there two days running (lunch menu - 3 courses including wine €14!). Wanted to try the pintxos, but couldn't drag ourselves out of the restaurant, maybe next time.

What a great place for a late night's tapa, cafe and digestiff? Were welcomed even half an hour before closing, prompt service, interesting décor.

Iruña is a tipycall place for people from Bilbao to meet friends. It is classic and cozy. It is a place where you can feel Bilbao's way of living.

Come here anytime of day for a coffee or a drink and enjoy the beautiful wall tiles in one of the most beautiful bars in Bilbao. Best time is from 5-9pm when everyone comes out for an aperitif and a snack. The best tapas appear then.

Went for tapas which were delicious. It is worth the trip for the decor alone. The staff were friendly and didn't mind people taking photographs and looking around.

I like this place - you can eat there some typical, local food. Everything is really tasty and as fresh as can be, I think. Jamon and kokotxas are my best memories from there.

Web site lists Sunday prix fixe menu as 19E; 32E on the menu at the restaurant. Couldn't get a simple salad to go with entrees, which weren't great(hake, peppers stuffed with squid). Beautiful old tile and wood decor, though.

We had the menu del dia and was very disappointed as the reviews seemed OK. My Small jamon tart appetiser had a piece of polystyrene the size of a pea in it, so when I told the staff, he looked at it, took it away and never mentioned it again. Not even to apologise?!! The duck salad consisted of small... More

Very fine decor , breakfast was the same pincho and coffee as elsewhere and the service was fine. It's certainly worth a visit for the decoration if not for a main meal.
