This was one of the best meals during a two week trip across Spain and Portugal. Dropped in for lunch, want to go back. The best anchovies ever, which are an inconspicuous and probably overlooked option from the starters. The tasting platter gave eight different mini-meals, all perfect. Good staff. Good prices.

Without a reservation, we risked a visit, only to be greeted by the friendliest staff and enjoy a terrific meal. Savor the local flavors, order a good wine and have a memorable meal.

Picked the restaurant based on comments and rating, we did not regret it. One of our best diner after a week in Spain, mostly locals, always a good sign. Everything was succulent and fresh, we would go back for sure.

Excellent choice of local dishes with very friendly service in the heart of Zaragoza. Worth the visit but try to book it in advance as its always full!

A lovely restaurant with charming staff and a colorful menu. We ate off of the daily menu, sharing an artfully prepared gazpacho which was sublime. I had a boar asada which was tender and rich. The Rioja wine was great. Wonderful selection and relatively inexpensive.

This is the kind of place that makes you feel instantly welcome. Give it a chance to settle in and then laugh with the staff and enjoy a great experience. The food is incredible and what to expect from Spain, especially this region. The wine list is extensive and will suit any pallet. Easy to find and just tucked in... More

We visited 3 times , for a drink , for an evening meal and for a Tapas lunch. Some of the staff speak English and a menu in English which is great if you have little or no Spanish ( like us). Excellent glass ( or two ) of Riojja 1.84 euros per glass - could not believe it !!... More

We went to this restaurant twice, because after the first one we loved it so much. They serve excellent food with ok price. The waiter's recommendations were very good. He spoke english and helped us s lot with the menu. The wine he recommended was also very good. If we come to Zaragoza again we will definitely visit this restaurant... More

We dined at Palomeque last night. We chose 2 excellent starters -- a carpaccio of tomato with ham and shrimp plus a rice and lobster dish. Portions were large enough for 2 even though we chose the 1/2 racion. We then chose the mixed taps (eight) as suggested. they were ok but (with the exception of the migas and foie... More

We stumbled across this place in an out of the way street and had one of the best meals we have had in Spain all month. We started with the patatas bravas and mussels steamed in sherry - both were fresh, tender and delicious. We then had one of the specials, a carpaccio of heirloom tomatoes topped with olive tapenade,... More
