This is a well.placed tapas bar, quite nice and well decorated. However, I ordered huevos rotos (fried eggs with chips and ham), and they were lukewarm, very oily and the potatoes tasted as if they had been pre-fried the day before.

Do stop by and order a "croqueta". My choice is usually either cod or wild mushroom, but in general all are good. The other options on the menu are also good. Don't expect to sit down, it's just a place for a tapa on the go.

Best croquettes we've tasted! Some interesting flavours like chicken & chocolate. Our waitress was a true gem!

Dona Casta is mastering the art of croquetas - the board over the bar shows ten types with different ingredients. We popped in late on Sunday evening but the place was still crowded - it tells a lot about its popularity. We tried two kinds: ham, cheese & nuts and mushrooms & goat cheese. Both were freshly fried and we... More

This place serves a very unique set of croquettes. We tried 4 of them, highly recommend the "arroz negro", "cabrales" And "morcilla".

Ok, here is the deal: if you are in or near Zaragoza you must try these croquetas' place. Probably the best croqueta in the world... My favourites are arroz negro (black rice) and cabrales with apples (strong blue cheese from Asturias). 100% recommended, even if its not a cheap place within the Tubo.

We asked some random local about best places to eat in "El Tubo" of Zaragoza and he recommended this place! Amazing selection of Croquetas.. Just try any of them, they're amazing but cost 2.40€ each!

Love little hideaway! Started a crazy night out full of tapas and beer! Lovely little place to grab a few quick nibbles and a half pint!

The best croquetas ever. The variety is unlike anything I have ever seen in Spain, with not just your normal jamon but walnuts and foie and boletus mushrooms and arroz negro and I can't even remember what else! They were really delicious and the place had a wonderful atmosphere. Even if there were other tourists in the place I wouldn't... More

Been many times in this famous and central "taberna" well known for its delicious croquetas. A wide range of the best spanish wines. A good mix of tradition and quality. The side-effect of success is it's often crowded.
