Clearly a popular place

We were recommended to this place by a local we got chatting to. It was extremely busy and the tapas tasty. No space at the bar so we had to take the more expensive (and only) option of a table outside. The downside for me in this was the wafts of smoke from people's cigarettes - but maybe I'm... read more

When we arrived there was no table but one was magicked up for the four of us. Drinks came quickly. We ordered several tapas which arrived nicely staggered so we had time to savour each one. Of particular note were the bacalao gratin, slow cooked pork cheeks and the tuna in raspberry vinegar. They were superb. The service was attentive... More

I loved this place. Good food, full of locals, fun ambiance, and generally friendly service. Over the course of the week I spent in Seville, I came here for meals or drinks three times. Definitely try the grilled squid, the ham, the merluza and even the salad was good.

It's easy to find the best restaurants in Seville. Try those that are full of locals at 11PM and avoid the rest. This tiny restaurant in the historic district is packed with Sevillanos throughout the lunch hour and at dinner. It is known for seafood but the lamb and veal are also excellent. There are few, if any tourists and... More

All the tables were full and we were told it would be about ten minutes for a table. I'm very glad we waited. Bodeguita Casablanca is busy with locals, the tapas looked inviting and the waiters were very helpful. We had the Spanish equivalent of fritto misto and it was excellent, as was the potato salad!

Saw this place mentioned in a magazine. It's very near the cathedral so easy to find. Good food and efficient service. Was disappointed at first to not see the potato salad on the menu. Then we were pleasantly surprised when a bowl appeared on our table! Even happier when we learned there is no charge for it! Eat here if... More

After researching several places in the area on TA and looking at all reviews we decided to give this place a try and not sorry we did. The food was amazing and the drinks were reasonably priced but the service however, we noticed, was lacking when they realized we were Americans. Several locals came up and greeted the host and...
