Wandered past this bar whilst looking for somewhere else (it was Sunday, everywhere was closed)! Looked inviting especially with the outside heating lamps so we thought we'd stop for a glass of wine. Had some lovely wine and some calamari with a funky garlicy dip. Very nice. Went back the next night too but couldn't sit outside as it was... More

On our first night we strolled through the old town and stumbled on the Cava bar. We sat at a table outside on the heated porch and ordered tapas. The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and served with enthusiasm, a modern take on tapas with fresh and tasty ingredients. Leave room for dessert. Recommended!

The bar is excellent for its tapas, which are prepared more sophisticated and with more flavor than in a regular bar. The prices are good. I paid 6 euro for a relative large Moroccan chicken tapa, while other bars near the cathedral dare to charge 3 euro for two small toasts with slices of ham. The beer and wine selection... More

We had lunch there twice, and every time it was just great. Delicious tapas, a very nice Cava to accompany it. Staff is very friendly, recommends dishes, and speaks English and Italian.

I wish I could give zero stars. Went in with my parents for an early dinner of tapas to beat the crowds and we were literally the only people in the restaurant. We all ordered things that were 'to share' size but honestly, none of the portions would have even filled a three year old. But the real issue that... More

Nice place, well located, but the food does not match quality. We tried a few tapas and all were untasteful. Not bad, but not good either. Would not recommend

We stayed in Sevilla in October for 4 nights and ended up going to La Cava.bar for dinner and lunch. Both times did not disappoint. We tried many of the items on the menu but did order on both occasions the tuna tartare with guacamole topping (exquisite). That alone was worth the visits. Had some very good veggie tempura, cheeses,... More

Wandered in here during siesta (we were happy/surprise to see it was open, as most "good" places shut down until around 8pm). We weren't hungry but the food looked great - innovative small plates. Looks very popular/busy during more "normal" hours, with lots of people standing inside. Good, if possibly a bit arrogant, service (maybe this was because we didn't... More
