My wife and I stumbled onto La Cava Bar by accident after we completed our tour of the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral of Sevllia. We were there on July 14th. It was extremely hot that day so we were looking for a place to grab a quick snack and cool drink that had free wi-fi. The bar is tiny... More

Given that I expect all places near a tourist location like the cathedral to be lousy I was thrilled to find this lovely spot. We had terrific cava and tapas - my husband loved the sardines with babaganoush. Very good.

Having visited this very tiny modern tapas bar, in retrospect, perhaps I should have approached it as a wine bar that serves tapas, rather than a tapas restaurant. The service was pleasant and efficient. We tried four simple tapas dishes from a small menu and a glass of the house Cava. We were in and out in 25 minutes and... More

We'd actually gone to another restaurant which wasn't yet open, so we walked back to La Cava.Bar and we were very happy that we did. It's a tapas bar with various sizes of tapas. We had the salmorejo, mackerel, croquettes, prawns in pastry, duck and mushroom rice (risotto), pork with vegetables and a sweet that came in a glass jar.... More

Recommended for several consecutive years by Routard, this bar is really a nice place to have some drinks and tapas after the visiting (just some minutes away from the Cathedral and Giralda). The staff is welcoming, the food and drinks are good. A place with an ambience.

we didn't quite make it to the cathedral (which is only about 20 metres from this bar) but stopped for lunch which turned into a couple of hours of great food wine and people watching. Great tapas from such a small kitchen. The Raventos cava was lovely as was the service

We had a tapas lunch here. The service provided by Irene and Javier was friendly and good. Great sangria. We ordered five tapas and everything was wonderful. The prawns in crispy pastry and avocado were to die for.

This was our first place in Sevilla where we ate and we were so happy. After 6 hours of drive and an hour of struggle to find our hotel, this place was our joy of the day. On the same street you can find many other places but they were all full and there was no table to sit. We... More
