The food is very fresh and the quality of ingredients are superb. The waiting staff are very attentive and friendly.

We didn’t really enjoy the tapas we ordered here. I felt like it wasn’t a good value for money (especially the sangria... way overpriced compared to other places we visited). Also, we got charged for bread that we didn’t even touch or ask for, so...More

We went here several time. It is located on a nice square in the Santa Cruz area in Seville. Price/Quality was good. I liked the Tapas with salmon and avocado very much.

This bar was so nice we went to it twice — once for dinner before the nearby flamenco show, and then for dessert afterward. It is on a small plaza with outdoor tables where you have a great view of the paseo. There was a...More

We read a lot of positive comments here on Tripadvisor. Because all other "good" place around were very full, we ended up at Carmela. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. The service is decent and the location is ok. In comparison with some other...More

This was a quick food stop - before a Flamenco show. Quick, friendly service. Outdoor tables on a quaint plaza (off a busy street). Milk and coffee and a chocolate brownie.

This place offers basic drinks and basic food. It won't be the best in Sevilla but won't be worst either. Go here, if you are on a budget and not crazy about food.

Handily placed opposite the Casas de la Juderia Hotel where we were staying. Had quite a few drinks, lunches and dinners in here! Good selection of Tapas & main meals all reasonably priced. Prompt service and a good atmosphere.More

I passed by it and had lunch there in the outdoor seating on a sunny day. Friendly staff. For just €9, I ordered menu of the day (mixed salad, chicken meatballs with rice, beer and fresh pears). Food tasty and came in good portion. Great...More

Lovely tapas, friendly staff, and there were tasty veggie options. Meat eater husband raved about the pork cheeks. Great location. Worth a visit

We serve the beers in small glasses, we call "caña de cerveza" and also can serve in "botellines" (small bottles of 25 cl.), all very cold. :)

Description
Carmela Bar is opened since 1994, it is an excellent reference to taste TAPAS, an Andalusian tradition. It is located between the Santa Cruz and La Juderia area, a very distinctive place of the Centre of Seville. This is the perfect place to make a break and sit down in its great terrace near the most important monuments of our city: the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Giralda. It is also located very near La Carboneria, a famous place for live Flamenco music.
