Cant believe the reviews , just got back from Seville and visited this place three times, good tapas, wine and very good friendly service. As for the lack of english being spoken, you are in Seville, not Benidorm.

I promised myself to go back and review this place because we had such a nice lunch here. I'm surprised to read of other's bad experiences. The day before we had a really bad restaurant experience and this one proved to us that that was not how things were done and that bad service was not customary in Sevilla. (The... More

It was the end of a long day walking all over Seville, and we defaulted to dining here, because it was packed, the ambiance was good, and we hadn't done our homework. The waiters were attentive, although their English was surprisingly limited. We are fluent in French as well, but communication was tough. We ordered a 1/2 ration of a... More

The attitude of the staff at this restaurant left a lot to be desired it felt like they were doing you a favour by even alllowing you to sit at their tables. Although sited in an attractive side street which was alluring this was spoilt by any recognition of customer service. Food was OK . Will never return and would... More

We stopped here for tapas lunch on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The tapas were ok - I'm no expert but thought they were average in comparison to others we've had - but the service was great!Came home to read the reviews below - can honestly say we found the aaiters very helpful and attentive and prices ok.

Nothing fancy but good food at good prices, a very large selection on the menu, the usual tapas and nice house white wine. Very busy , so that's usually a good sign. We had the house white wine, a large cheese salad and and a few tapas €31 , not asking too much there. Friendly waiters, English spoken and also... More

Stopped on a hot day and ordered 5 drinks. 3 never arrived, though they did appear on the bill! Waiters surly, unfriendly and unhelpful. Go and get an ice cream from the very pleasant ladies round the corner instead.

Food and ambiance were exactly as expected = read as Tourist area. The staff appeared tired, lazy and extremely unwilling to present the bill in spite of being asked a couple of times. To cap it all off had to go ask for the change. we weren't alone with three tables around us also complaining. Come on guys, the place... More

After enjoying several lunches and dinners in a great variety of restaurants, we started to believe that all restaurants in Seville were wonderful. Bodega Gongora proved us wrong. We shared a grilled fish platter for lunch and were greatly disappointed. The fish was unseasoned, bland, dry and full of bones. Bread was stale and the olives we got with our... More

In a very touristy area so we should not have expected much. The food was edible but just. The house white wine which they recommended was barely drinkable. The mixed grill was tough and the bread was stale. The wait staff was in a hurry to turn over the table. Keep walking! There are lots of other choices.

Thank docmonty
